Nauriel: I've been gone so long! Sorry. My computer wouldn't let me log in, and yesterday from 11:00 in the morning until 3:30 today, my friends and I had a Stargate Marathon. We watched all of Atlantis Season 1 (except for a few stupid episodes), went to bed, then watched 4 episodes of SG-1 season 1. (Children of the Gods, Part 1 and 2(Oh wow, I got quite a bit of a surprise in that one. *shudders* The episode that you but is quite a bit different from the one on TV), Emanicpation, and Broca Divide) It was really cool.

Nathan: Wow, you've been busy. Oh, and I'll take the job, as long as I get to tease Jareth for having a relation ship. But buddy, take Carter at your own risk.

Nauriel: Yeah. Once she flashes those DEOD, (Dooe Eyes Of Death) You're a gonner.

Daniel: *Yawn* Oh, hello. I was just getting more coffee. I'm translating those scrolls we found on P3X somthing or other. Cna I have a roll too?

Nauriel: Well, you're usually a very good diplomat, sure. You're coming.

Daniel: Yay!

John: I guess i wont be much use on this mission... may make some one mad... *snickers* or maybe i could come along and say the wrong thing in front of them and it causes the fight...
Madoc: DONT YOU DARE JOHN!
John: What?! ahh man come on... i just want to cause some chaos!

Elenya: I bet that was quite a shock, huh Nauriel? lol. My parents previewed that episode and "edited" it for me and my brother, fortunately.
I can take a Langaran too, probably.

Jonas: I can't wait to see all you guys again!

STARGATE SG-1: (Cool title. I was thinking along the lines of "Mediation" or something. suggestions? )

It was a quite, normal day at the SGC ... until the Stargate activated and a message filtered past the massive grey iris. Originating from the planet Langara - formerly Kelowna, the site of a recently-ended world war - it carried with it the voice and face of none other than Jonas Quinn. After smiles from Carter and Hammond, a stoicly veiled greeting from Teal'c, and a dry "Long time no see" from O'Neill, Jonas eventually got around to explaining the reason for his contact.

Apparently the naquada mines were again becoming a source of tension - this time internally, between two Langaran corporations, who each claimed ownership over three of the major deposits. Since the corporations were also from formerly conflicting sides in the recent war, Jonas was the only person they trusted to mediate between them, and (after much haggling) the SGC was the only organization they could trust to provide security for the highly influential, highly wealthy CEOs.

After some consideration (and also smelling benefits for Earth in terms of cheap naquada in return for the favor), General Hammond authorized two teams of SG personnel to provide security for the series of meetings.

Three days later, and a day before the meetings were scheduled to begin, SG teams 1 and 12 stood on the ramp leading up to the Stargate. Much more information - lodgings, floorplans, security procedures - had been exchanged. Now all that remained was to take that one small step that covered the parsecs between stars.

One by one, each of the eight disappeared into the glimmering blue pool that was Earth's doorway to the universe.

(I guess I'll powerplay Jack and Teal'c from Sam's POV until we get ppl to play them)

Sam stepped forward into the bunker on Langara and grinned at the man waiting to receive them. "Jonas! It's good to see you again!"

"Trust me, you'll get used to it." Nathan sighed. "In no time at all, you won;t even realize your molecular structure is being broken down and converted into energy, only to be reassembled on the other side."
Daniel glanced over at John. "At least you don;t get frost on your glasses." He said. He remembered when the gate had first been opened, travelling was not always this pleasant. As he glanced around, he noticed the structure around him, and his mission on Langara.

Jareth smiled at Nathan and Daniel. "Yeah, at least I have perfect vision...", he joked.

"Lucky you" Daniel sighed. A lot of times his glasses gave him trouble. They semed to actually like getting smashed or lost. He finally ditched the glasses for contacts, but those often made his eyes dry and itchy. Daniel's mind shifted away from his eyes as he searched for the delegates.

Jareth tossed Daniel some eyedrops. "Good things to carry..."
