(Nice, subtle cue there..)

Oh, if Tynel only knew how wrong he truly was...the man he passed was the same Rylin from that camp on the Usurper coast, now seeming to be from almost a different lifetime. However, if Rylin even noticed Tynel, he gave no heed to him, only continued walking, and secretly searching for something..or someone.

((Well I didn't really want poor ol' Ty to go wandering around for who knows how long! j/k ))

Tynel kept on walking for a few minutes but then decided that he might as well go back to the inn and get some rest, if not at least his weapons. Everyone else out here had weapons, and yet the former sniper did not. As Tynel started to carefully retrace his steps, he heard some kind of fuss a little ways past the inn. He followed the noise to a large crowd. He then tried to peer over some heads, attempting to catch a glimpse of whatever they were looking at...

The jostling crowd, however, was hard to see through, as all of the people were trying vainly to get a better look at whatever was happening in the midst of the crowd. Whatever was going on, it was clear there was a struggle going on, as denoted by the muffled exclamations, and even several muffled screams.

Tynel's shoulders and face fell. He wasn't getting anywhere. Taking matters into his own hands, he weaved his way through the crowd, getting closer as he heard a female voice scream. This couldn't be good. Tynel had no plans of becoming a hero for a damsel in destress, but he did plan to see what in the world was going on. He didn't see much when he got to the center of the crowd, but he did hear a sword singing agaist metal, and a flash of a blade, and hear another high scream along with gasps from the crowd. No, this was definatly not good.

Several more times, the clash of steel against steel could be heard, but soon, there was a sharp clatter of steel against the cobblestone street, along with the sound of a body falling to the hard ground.

"Give up yet?" a male voice asked coldly.

"Never." came the dark response from the second voice, clearly a female's.

(Three guesses as to who those two are..)

Tynel stopped. He knew that voice. Both of them. He knew that the first one was Raven, and that thought was quite alarming in itself, but he also realized that the other one was... that man... Rylin! Tynel snapped his fingers as he finally remembered the man's name. He then looked around and quietly snuck back out to retrieve his weapons - they might be needed.

As Tynel made his retreat, there was once again the clatter of steel falling to the hard ground, but that did not end the fight..

Tynel quickly ran back to his room and strapped his knives to his back, and headed for the crowd, once again weaving through the mass of people, desparetly hoping this wouldn't turn deadly.

"Oh goodness Raven, what have you gotten yourself into..." Tynel whispered, more to himself than Raven, as he spotted her fighting with Rylin.

The fight soon came to a complete standstill as both elves froze, both hearing the heavy thud of boots on stone, signaling the approach of civil guards. As the sound grew louder, however, Rylin grabbed Raven from behind, and retrieving both of their swords, began trying to make a retreat. He was not about to get himself arrested when his goal was in reach like this..

((ok, ok, it wasn't NEARLY 2 hrs... oh well. ))

Tynel looked to the guards, then to Rylin's and Raven's retreating backs. Rolling his eyes once more, he darted after them.

"Why is everyone always so fast?!" Tynel thought, as he raced to catch up with Rylin, hoping that the gaurds had been delayed. As he tailed the two, he silently unsheathed a knife and snaked it around Rylin's ankle and pulled, not only did it leave him on the ground, it left him with a painful cut. Tynel then grabbed Raven's arm, getting her up. He then looked down at Rylin, yes, that was one of the more useful tricks he knew.

Swearing quite violently under his breath, Rylin got to his feet again, exactly how, is uncertain, and he reached for his sword. "You should have stayed out of this." he growled, drawing his sword with a sharp rasp. Now, he was definitely angry..

((Aha! An opening! not so fast, please, guys!))

Thyiri looked mildly surprised as Tynel tore past her to snatch up his knives, and with a curious glance at his back as he hurried back to wherever he was going, she felt for the hilt of her knife and followed swiftly, having nothing better to do.

She had her work cut out for her to keep up, but watched with great interest as Tynel appeared to be rescuing Raven from somebody vaguely familiar. Shrinking back into the shadows, she recognized him as the man who had confronted her while still in Usurper territory.

Tynel, still dragging Raven behind him, was completely running on adrenaline,(big sp) he darted behind a building and peared around a building and spotted Rylin, who was looking none too happy. He quietly cursed and turned back to Raven and lead her through the allyway, and then around more buildings.

"Do you have any plans as to where we could lose him?!" Ty whispered more strict than he intended, "Because if you do, this would be an exelent time to share!"

"I don't bloody know!" Raven exclaimed, not sounding at all like herself. "He's going to find us, wherever we go!"

And sure enough, the thud of boots, as well as the soft rustle of a cloak, signaled Rylin's approach.

Tynel heard Rylin approching, and paniced. He then spotted a sign above a shop, and made a straight dash for it, dragging Raven behind. Once inside, it was made clear that they were in a bar, and a very busy one at that. He then made his way back into the storage room, where barrel upon barrel of ale and wine were lining the walls.

"Quick, hide!"

(Sidenote: LET her get captured, please. It's part of the plotline I've got worked out. I just wanted to make that clear..)

Raven muttered something, then quickly found a place to hide, though she only half-heartedly made sure she was not visible. Whatever had happened in the fight with Rylin and herself had certainly seemed to made her seem almost willing for him to find her..
