Jack gagged to himself as he felt the shot make it's way towards his heart. He felt the burning sensation through his body. The pain was incredible. The blood dripped out from the wound. Jack should've been a dead man right there, but he was indeed alive. He managed to say some words to Devina through his dry throat, "Suicide! I don't think so missy! I was just seein' if old bloody Barbossa was a dirty lieing man about that blasted curse...." He pushed his vest to one side of his chest seeing the wound, "I do believe he was tellin' the truth."

"Well..now that ye mention it..." He eyed Blackbird in her cell. "What ye could do is amputate one of my arms, which could then crawl out of the bars, and of course finger it's way to the keys." He smirked to himself, as if he were enjoying his own sarcastic joke.

Jack frowned his eyebrows at Blackbird and shook his head. "That's brilliant to hear.." He sighed and held his chest as the pain from the bullet near his heart still burned.
