Jack gave a confused face towards her, "I said...we were peas in a pod, now, I do bellieve this 'as been a long enough talk between us, so like I said, if ye'll excuse me I 'ave a ship to attend to."
He waved a hand for them to go away, and once again it was the more noticable hand with the strange cloth wrapped around it.

Cat watches the two of them; for a moment she had been ready to slap 'Cap'n' Jack across the face. She holds the compass far away from him as she notices him reaching for it, but she also notices the rag on his other hand. Her eyes narrow as she stares at it while he talks to Dylan. "I suggest you accept her, or I will smash this compass....."

Suddenly Jack froze. A strange expression came onto his face as if he had the most brilliant idea. "Uh, aye, lookin' for a crew, aye! And you, and you,..." He started pointing to the others who were with Dylan, "..you, you and you can all join! Just sign the papers and ye are on the ship with me!"

Dylan stared at him, "and what may i ask will i have to do exactly?" Dylan asked raseing a eye brow, she didn't quite like how quickly he had changed his mind.

Cat snorts in disgust. "I ain't stupid enough to sign papers, Captain...... An' besides, I'm in the position of power here....... 1. I have the compass you want, and 2. I can probably guess what is under that cloth on your hand......" She smirks at Jack, her eyes watching his every move, and her hand wrapped tight about the compass........

Cat laughs softly, and rather ominously, at that. "Then why d'you need the compass, if it's broken?......" She closes her hand tighter about the compass, not about to let him get it, if he's trying to distract her. "And I know a lot more about things than most people think......" Her eyes flash like icy blue flames, and her lips curl up slightly into a cruel smile. "What could be so dreadful to a notorious pirate that he would have to hide it under a bandage from his own crew?...... I highly doubt it's a little cut from a sword....."

"Cat.." Sam said doubtfull, "He did speak to Dylan, so why don't you just give the compass back?" She hoped this wasn't a powerplay between Cat and Sparrow after all it was because of Dyan we approached this pirate.
"Should we join him?" she whispered so Jack couldn't hear her.
