Rachel heard the ladder shaking, and heard Mark scream. "What's going on?" she said hysterically. She flung out a hand, trying to reach Mark.

Vimmac screeched and pulled away from Kai, releasing his grip. Black thick blood poured from the tentacled hand, but as fast as the wound was made, it started to heal.

(LOL...Roy may be able to talk in a while, Pip. HE HE! I'm just waiting to see if any alien gets us out of the sewer yet. 
Also, I would pose for Mark, but I'm awaiting Witch King.)

The reptilian hand was almost grabbing Mark's leg. Zrglst gave the ladder a sudden rip and then pounced on the boy.

(I see, Elenya....but uh...LOL....the ladder to get down off the roof was just ripped off the wall. How are you going to get down? And if you do magically...then you can RP with Roy and Jimmy. I think it's great. He he!)
Mark could feel the last inch of his fingertips slip off of the ladder. With fear in his breathing, he began his descent toward the ground below. But just as he fell, the huge alien was on top of him.
Feeling the weight begin to crush his small skeleton and lungs, he paniced and tried to gasp for air. Opening his mouth, he tried to scream, but found he couldn't.
(I'm just waiting for Pippin to pose so that I can respond with Roy.)

Vimmac searched. Kai had fled. The alien snarled and returned into the building, seeking and smelling for the scent of the human.

Jimmy opened his mouth, but a dry breath of air escaped. He forced out a voice again, "Heeeelp..."
Dude, this sucked beyond his wildest experience. This was worse than waking up to a dumb alarm clock at 5:00 am in the morning.

Roy could barely move his neck in Jimmy's direction. His skull felt like it weighed 500 pounds. Even blinking was difficult, but he managed to move his neck only a quarter of an inch.
With his body laying in the rotten sewage waste, he knew that his life was in imminent danger and that it would probably end sooner than he could fathom. An emptiness filled his soul and thoughts, until he heard Jimmy's weak voice a few feet from him.
Barely able to move his mouth or tongue, he muttered, "Jim---J---Jim--" It was faint, but loud enough for a small echo to be heard in the tunnel system.

Kai heard Vimmec searching thought the building and grinned as he saw a septic tank next to him. "Well as needs must." he gently opened the lid and slid into the sewage. He closed the lid above him and was imiadetly plunged into a foul smelling blackness, but at least the alien couldn't find him here

"Mark!" Rachel screamed as she heard the ladder clang onto the ground below. She heard sounds of a struggle, but couldn't tell what was going on. "Mark!" she yelled again, still reaching over the edge of the roof. It was no use. The ladder had been torn completely out of the wall, and Mark had gone with it, she assumed.
She still crouched on the edge of the roof, desperately hoping the boy was still alive.

A syringe was produced and stabbed into Mark, filled with sedatives. Zrglst also readied a steel net which he wrapped around his prey so he could return to him later.

From her place on the roof, Rachel heard a familiar noise- a metallic scraping, clattering noise. <i>The alien's net!</i> she remembered.
She hesitated for a second, then backed away from the edge of the roof. There wasn't anything she could do for Mark, if he was even alive.
Blinking back tears, Rachel crawled along the rooftop, carefully feeling her way. Fortunately, it was a long rooftop- maybe a school or library- and all the same height.
Rachel crawled until she thought she had gone past a couple of alleys, then moved back to the edge. Her hand found a brick wall. She kept moving, and soon her arm thrust out into open air. Moving her hand down the edge of the roof, she found another small ladder like the one she had recently climbed up.
She swung one foot, then the other, over the side of the roof, finding the rungs. Carefully feeling for each foot and hand hold, she started moving down the ladder.

Vimmac searched. Kai was still around, but it was unsure of where he was located.
The Alien sneered and pounced across the sewer and landed sideways on the wall. He crawled along the bricks and sniffed. There, down the hall, two more humans. Already captured and helpless. He would bring them to Master Zrglst.
Vimmac let out a loud screaming shout and pounced to the ceiling, and scattered himself above them.
