Corison kept a tight grip around Lanie as Sylan climbed into the car. She didn't need the stress of dealing with Sylan yelling at Lanie, and Lanie was already punishing herself enough aas it was.

Corison watched the look on Sylans face for a moment. She didn't see anger there, instead of anger she saw pain and sorrow.

Corison looked up at David. "Sylan may be gruff and harsh at times, but he is quick to apologise when he knows he was wrong...What happened between Josh and Lanie was her fault because she didn't think first, but it was also his fault because Sylan chose to let her go out with him... If he had told her no it wouldhave been ten times worse and the fall would have been harder then it was. He chose the lesser of two evils, but it was still painful." She turned to go upstares but stumbled half way up and very nearly cam tumbleing back down.
