((sry...didn't have time to get on this morning like i usually do...anyway, i'm going to prove my versatility yet again and cover one more set of minor parts for a short amount of time, just to get things along (yes, I had a moment of random inspiration ). Unless anyone else is willing to cover a few, I'm thinking I'll just be responsible for the whole 'bad guy' crew, plus Blackbird. Apologies for the long post that follows; it's just kinda necessary to communicate my idea...I promise I won't make it a habit ))

Pintel stole silently down the stairs to the brig, followed closely by Ragetti. He turned the corner and jumped slightly as he was met by Bo'sun.
"What d'ye want?" the man growled, crossing his arms and towering over them.
Pintel cleared his throat uncomfortably. Why was he always the messenger? "Ah..." He tried to think of something. "Cap'n Barbossa says we're to take over watchin' the prisoners."
" 'e did?" Ragetti asked cluelessly, rubbing at his wooden eye. "I thought we was-"
"Comin' to watch over th' prisoners," Pintel interrupted. "Jus' like I said." He glared at his friend pointedly, hoping he wouldn't say anything more.
Ragetti continued to stare blankly at him, then slow realization spread over his face. "Righ'...Watch o'er the prisoners," he agreed with a childish grin. Bo'sun studied the two skeptically, then shrugged and strode out of the room.
As soon as they were alone, Pintel slapped Ragetti upside the head. "Bloody idiot!" he hissed. "How many times do I gotta tell ye t' follow my lead?" Realizing that the prisoners were all staring at him, he regained his composure and strode over to Jack's cell. "Cap'n Sparrow," he said with a grin. "We've got a bit of a proposition for ye."

"Well, see, the crew've been talkin', an' we've made some decisions. As you well know, we're cursed, same as Barbossa. Difference is, like you, most o' us didn't die before. The majority o' us were perfectly content goin' back to our mortal lives an' findin' a new ship t' serve on. Then, a bit o'er a week ago, Barbossa shows up 'gain, an' with 'im, the Curse. Now, jus' like before, we're stuck servin' him, an' we're the ones sufferin' for it while he enjoys 'is new-found immortality. We was never that loyal to Barbossa, but 'e knows more 'bout this curse than anyone else on th' crew, an' misery loves company, so we kinda needed 'im. Even now, 'e's keepin' us under 'im by promisin' that eventually he'll tell us who's blood we need." Pintel leaned forward and lowered his voice to barely above a whisper. "...That's where you come in. Ye don't know everythin', but yer the one who's studied this curse more than any o' us. In th' end, it comes down t' this: You need a crew, seein' as we killed most o' yer old one in the battle, we need a cap'n to replace Barbossa, an' we all want this curse lifted. So, our proposition to you is that in exchange for yer ship, you 'elp us out on this one. Deal?"

"I say we go for it" Will interupted quite impatiently. "Pirates or not I'm going to lose my head if I stay in this cell any longer"

Blackbird just glared up at the two pirates. "I suppose they are the experts on this subject. I can't think of anyone better to employ for mutiny and murder...After all, that's what they're best at, right mates?" Her tone was even, but her dark eyes belied a deep hatred toward the men.

Ragetti fidgetted uncomfortably and resumed rubbing at his eye, purposefully avoiding the woman's dark gaze. "T'wasn't our fault..." he muttered.

"Oh, wasn't your fault huh?" Will said sarcastically.
