Darius nodded grimly at Gareth's words, feeling pity for his friend's plight. "I am going to try for a hunting and tracking job now," Darius told him. "Have you heard word of any other jobs in town?" he asked.

The man nodded at both men. "Very well. I am in need of a new hunter and tracker since my last proved to be a thief. Here is my test. The man who can hunt two foxes and two hares the fastest will earn the job."
Darius merely nodded, the task hardly seeming difficult to him.

Darius quickly made his way to the woods, letting his senses guide him. He then quickly shifted into a hawk as he began to hunt for his pair of rabbits.

Spotting a rabbit from his position in the sky, Darius quickly swooped in for the kill as he grabbed the creature before killing it and then morphed back into his human form before sniffing out the area to find his second kill.

After some time Gareth was able to get a rabbit, and set to get his second.
