Lana Holt sat in the car as they pulled up to the old light house. she stared out the window, people at their old town had thought she was weird with her constant intrest in things in history. she played with a lock of her long light red hair, her lightly freckled nose all wrinkled. her dark green eyes stayed foucsed on the lock of hair.

Lucy, a tomboy who had barely brushed her hair this morning, sat in between the two youngest of the sisters. When they drove up, and parked, she jumped out as quickly as possible, her dark red hair in a very messy pony tail, and her pale skin covered in freckles from being in the sun so much. Her baggy sky blue t-shirt and jeans had a few stains, but she didn't care.
"Mom, can you hurry up so we can get our rooms together? I can't wait to get exploring, and dad says I can't explore until I'm done unpakcing!" she called out...

Lexi sat behind her father who was currently driving the van down the old road. Obviously not many people traveled to the lighthouse when it was unowned. Her forehead rested agaisnt the window as fingers idly rapped upon the arm rest, hazel eyes taking in the sight of her new home. With a sigh she turned her gaze back into the car looking over at her twin to see her reaction on their new life.

"welcome to the point of no where." Lana said getting out of the car, she grabbed her bag and swung it over her shoulder. they moved enough that she knew what she was doing, getting inside before the others so she could have first pick at the rooms. she knew her sisters would chach onto what she was doing so she ran inside and started darting in and out of rooms.

Lucy eyed her sister, and knew what she was up to. Quickly she grabbed her two small bags, and darted in the house to be second. She found a room on the second level that had a small deck, and small walk through closet, and a bunch of vines that went up the wall to the deck. The deck had a beautiful view of the beach and some of the town, and if you looked to your left, it would be perfect to watch a sunrise.
"I call this room," she called out and put her bags on the floor and shut the door...

(ok, I g2g for a walk a little later anyway. Then comes hw, then bed!)

Leah didn't rush out of the van like the others, her nose buried in her latest novel, but she did slowly make her way to the house, dragging a few suitcases. She dragged them all the way up to the third level, which only had one large room with a wall of windows facing west. She dropped her bags and looked around. The windows had a long window seat running along them. She smiled and called, "I call this room," but not very loud. Then she shut the door, flopped down on the bed and continued to read.

Lana was not happy with any of the rooms. she ran up all the floors to the very top. right below the old light thingy at the top. it was kinda small but she liked it. the walls weren't finished in this room, so she could put things on the dead wood in the walls.
"perfect! i can put my sand bottles on those!" Lana said, she had a small collection of sand in little bottles. she had sand and dirt from all over the world. their family traveled a lot.

Lexi walked behind all her siblings, laughing at their joyfullness to be in the new home. She didn't care really what room she got, as long as she got a decent one with a few of the water.

Walking up the stairs to the third floor and two doors to the left she found a perfect room. It was slightly rounded at the edges, big enough for all her stuff, with a small balcony overlooking the water, walk in closet and another door which was locked. That she did not know what it was for.

Lana made a sign and put some double stick tape on the back, then she slapped it on her door, it read, "Lana's Room" she walked back to the car and got the rest of her stuff.

Lucy sat on the old wooden bed sketching. She came out with a piece of paper that had horses in one corner, a beach in another, a ferrit in the third and a sun in the last. It had a borner that was beautiful, and it big, luxurius letters it said: Lucy's Domain.

Happy with that, she taped it to her door, and went inside to put her cloths away in the old wood dresser. Then she put her horse figure colection on the few shelves around the room. She had one horse figure from each place the family had traveled. A thoroughbred racer from Kentuky, and Norweigen Fordge from France, an American Quarter Horse from Texas, and so on. Last she worked on puting her horse posters up, and the three movie posters went up in her walk in closet that now hung her one and only dress...

Leah finished her book and shut it regretfully, knowing she needed to get her stuff set up. She ambled over to a door in one side of the room, and was pleasantly surprised to find a small but immaculately clean en suite, with a tiny shower and a pretty little mirror over an equally tiny sink. She smiled and thumped down the stairs and out to the van for the rest of her things.
When she got back she stood in the middle of the room, looking thoughtfully around. It was quite pretty, with a soft double bed against one shorter wall and two dark wooden nighttables on either side. Against the opposite wall was a desk with a wicker chair, and lining what remained of the walls were antique bookcases, slightly dusty. The first thing Leah did was to carefully make up the bed with her soft green coverlet and plenty of pillows, and then as an afterthought she tacked a piece of white poster-board to the door, in the exact middle (Leah was a perfectionist) and wrote in neat, large letters, "Leah."

Lucy ran down stairs, and grabbed a dufflebag that held her towels, and bedding, and pictures, and her digital camera and camcorder. Flinging that over her shoulder, she grabbed a medium sized t.v. that was hers, and brought it to her room.

The t.v. went on the floor, the pictures, camera, and camcorder on the desk, towels went in the closet, bedding was thrown on the bed. Satisfied her room was ready, Lucy shoved her suit casses and bags under her bed, and ran out to the hall.

"I'm going exploring, anyone wanna come?" she called out...
