"I have a friend staying here for awhile." Summer said. "That's why it's a mess down there."

Cara stood inside the shadows of an alley. She had made it safely 6 blocks from her home, and now only a few yards of open space were between her and the forest. She carefully glanced out of the alley, and ducked back in. A small Dark Coat patrol was on the sidewalk, fortunately looking the other way, but blocking her from the forest. She retreated into the shadows quietly, looking for another way.

((maybe Adam could see her from a window, and have her come in? Just an idea))

Athel and the Dark Coats approached the wall in question and opened the way into the basement. Sure enough it was a mess but obvious that someone lived in that room. He turned to the girl and asked, "And where is this friend of yours?"

The Dark Coats pushed Summer down the stairs. "She's on her way back from school, she started talking to a friend and I went on ahead."

Cara pushed the hood from her head and went out onto the street, walking to another alley. She tried to blend in and act normal.

Athel frowned slightly and commanded to the Dark Coats, "Very well. Set up a perimeter around this house. Monitor everything and everyone that comes in and out of the house."

Adam was sitting on the window, staring outside. He suddenly spotted a girl, running. She seemed to be very nervous. Could it be...a Third too? She was obviously hiding from someone. Adam knew, that was really prohibided. He opened the window slighly and knocked against the glass. "Come up here", he whispered, looking if any policemen were out there. "Quick, come, use the fire escape stairs."

Cara looked up quickly as she heard a voice above her. A boy was looking out a window. She glanced around quickly. The street was empty, so she quickly climbed up the fire escape and into the house. "Hey, thanks." she told the boy, catching her breath.

When the girl was in, Adam quickly closed the window and put the curtains back. The girl seemed very exhausted. "Sit down", he said. "Are you okay?"

Then, Lee heard the bushes rustle and heard an twig snap behind her. She froze, not daring to move in fear of what was behind her. Then, it was in front of her. Her hands shook as she leaned agaisnt the tree, waiting for the coats to come out and kill her, get it over with...and then...."AHhh!" She yelped as an medium sized black dog popped out of the bushes. She looked at the dog, whom had no collar and smiled, relaxing and laughing quietly with relief. "Hey boy...come 'ere, boy!" She said, kneeling. The dog cocked its head to one side, then it made an dog-like grin andtrotted over to her, letting her rub his ears.

Athel left five Dark Coats at the residence as he advanced to the next house. On his way, he looked out in the forest for any Thirds. The forest, along with the wall, divided Wisle from the rest of the world, a radioactive destroyed wasteland, the remanents of the Third World War. In one hour, he raided, interrogated, and left three residences. The next house on the list was the Sadlers, a fairly large house. He held his sidearm as Dark Coats circled around the house and some more gathered near the door.
