Shade had just finished his glass of pure orange juice when a loud THUMP was heard smashing against the window outside. Layien jumped about half a mile as Shade looked up suddenly, but saw no one there. He glanced at Layien and said,
"Stay here. I'll be right back." He grabbed a dagger and slowly walked over to the front door and stepped outside. Even though the sun was up, the mornings chilling breeze was cold enough to make you think about warm fires and summer days. Shade ingorned the coldness, even though he was shivering and, holding the dagger out in front of him threatningly, he walked around the back of the cabin quietly.

He ducked low as he came near the edge of the wall, and nearer to the window. He took a large breath and peeped over the side, prepared for a large dragon or maybe a beast coming to kill him. But, to his relief, it was only a owl lying on the ground. But this was no regular owl. Shade lowered the weapon and smiled, chuckling. The only things this owl could hurt where probably itself and it's masters pride.
"You bloody fool. Ron still hasn't taught you how to fly yet?" He smiled again and walked over, bending down as the owl got to it's feet and cooned. Tied to it's leg was a very elegant looking letter with gold lining on the evelope and silver fancy writing on the side.
"This can't be from Ron." Shade muttered, but then he untied the letter and it read,

To Miss Layien and Sir Shade Dragonbane,
Cabin on Snowy Isle, 18975
From: Ronald Wesley

"Strange." Shade muttered and went inside. The owl took off and left again.
"What was it?" Layien asked, who was doing the dishes.
"Guess...no, no, you'll never get it. It was Ron's owl." Layien whipped her head back.
"Your kidding!"
"No. He gave us this..." He said as he started to open the letter.
"It reads:" He read aloud, so Layien could know what the invitation was.

Dear Dragonbanes:
You both have been invited to celebrate the wedding of Fleur and Percy on the...

"What is it?" Layien asked.
"The Wedding is in two days! And Ron would only invite me as a destress singal for help! How are we going to get there on time?"
"We are wizards..." She said, "We'll figure something out."

Ooc: k, little confused, but working with it...

Layien looked at Shade and smiled at him.
"Don't worry about it, again. Remember that time in school, when you did a certain person, a certain really huge favor and that certain person said thet owed you big time. Well, the debt must be paid sometime." Layien said and shrugged as if she knew nothing and started to dry her hands after finishing washing the dishes.

Shade couldn't help grinning and almost jumped for joy!
"Of course! Lupin!" He smiled and walked around and then stopped, turning quickly and asking, a bit of a worried look on his face.
"Do you remember what it was last night?" Layien looked at him like if he was mental.
"What on earth are you talking about?" She inquired.
"Last night...it was a full moon! Do you think he will be okay?"
"Of course! He's Lupin for crying out loud!" Layien said, but her voice was a little quivery. Just then, a loud,rather filmilar sound was heard outside their door. Then, it was followed by a loud knocking.....or rather, pounding. And then the door fell down. And the weirdest sight stood at their door.

Shade nearly fell over in shock when he heard someone speak.
"Lupin, I didn't expect...I didn't know...Lupin, how did you get here and why?"
"And I wouldn't worry about the giant...though I'll talk to him later about knocking down our door." Layien said, sighing heavily as she did let out a small yelp of shock.

Hermione heard Fleur's French accent rambling in the room she shared with Ginny, followed by some vage "Hmm's" and "Hmm-hmm's " of Ginny.
She quickly decided she was still a bit thirsty and paced back to the kitchen. She poured herself a cup of tea nad sat down next to Ron while she started to read the front page of the Daily Prophet.
