Isobella smiled at Gabriel's lack of words. She giggled slightly. But then Aidan fixed her with a furious glare, and she forced herself to pay attention to what he and the other vampires were saying about the Slayers. But still she couldn't help that ever so often her eyes wondered back to Gabriel.
Aidan listened to what Vladimir and Prokiam had to say. Both of their ideas made sense and seemed good in different ways. He sank back down into his chair and drummed his fingers against his chin in thought. He was of a like mind with Vladimir that the humans needed to be exterminated. Period. But he wondered if that was just his rage and hasty temper thinking. Prokiam's idea of manipulating the humans seemed sensible also. "The problem with simply making a move to eliminate them is this: it will anger the humans more. The numbers of Slayers will rise even more. As much as I would like to simply slaughter the whole lot of them." His fists clenched in anger. "My concious tells me that this may not be the best idea. "Whereas manipulating them, causing them to focus on struggles among themselves and not us, would be a more subtle approach. If they are squabbling amongst themselves, we can discreetly work to eliminate them while their heads are turned, so to speak." He looked around. "Anyone else?"

"What if we did both?"
Vladimir suddenly asked outloud as he gazed around, ecspecially at Prokiam who had been the one to challenge his idea with a more subtle approach and that Vladimir had to respect.
"What if we... manipulate them and kill few of them? Make them nervous and easy prey not to mention even paranoid... no man can stand seeing his friends and comrades falling around him as he is left alone with voices whispering in his head. Believe I should I know"

Aidan smiled wickedly, revealing his sharp startlingly white teeth. "Wonderful," he said. In his mind he was already invisioning the fall of the humans. They would regret ever rising up against the vampires. "Any objections? Other ideas?" He wanted to make sure the council was in agreement.
Isobella too smiled. There weren't many things she hated more than humans. And while she respected the idea of a subtly approach, she would certainly be glad that she would get to taste a little of her enemies blood in the process.

Demari watched the debate begin...
He frowned, and remained quiet as he watched the scene unfold..
Demari was never much for debates.

Sumiko wanted to know what was happening in this "Vampire Council"
She stood by the door, eavesdropping.. But she couldn't make out much..
So she quietly clutched her amulet and summoned a small snake.
It squeezed through the crack in the door. The silver-colored snake slithered into the room, to listen to the debate, and later submit the info to Miko who was waiting patiently outside the door.

"I agree with Demari. Let's just slaughter them and get it over with they have no right to those horrid creatures",Carryn said looking arond at the many faces before her she regretted saying anything.
~~~~~~~
Rogue looked around and wished that he was already in a battle and killing the bloody creatures
"I agree with Demari and Carryn", he said laughing when he pictured them on their knees begging for their lives and the lives of their family.
Prokiam frowned at the sound of this. Simply exterminating them isn't going to do any good. All it will do is create more Slayers. Fear has its limits. But he knew he was going to out-voted so he kept his silence.
(Is it possible that we have some Slayers enter in now to try to kill some of them?)
Vladmir sighed and rose once more, but this time he was not doing it in order to press a point. He was doing it simply out of anger that these brutal fools caused, he admitted that killing them all was his idea at first, but even his idea of killing was not simple slaughter as these other fools wanted it to be.
"It is madness to think that we can wipe them all out with a mindless assault, we need to weaken them and then strike a death blow without letting any of them slip trough our fingers to tell of our existance! I admit it was my first impression to kill them, but on second thought it is not wise. Well... no wonder you are such fools as most of you were still brats as you became vampires I suppose?"
((I was wanting to wait to bring in the Slayers until a few more people post. I don't want to make anything big happen and then leave people behind. But if no one else post for a while, we'll go ahead and bring the Slayers in somehow.))
Demari looked at Vladmir and began to laugh under his breath...
"What are you trying to say? Are you saying that YOU have better plan? eh?"
he paused
"All sensible plans and ideas are going to eventually lead to slaying them.. So my question is why don't we get it over with?"
Prokiam sighed as Vladimir stood up and argued his point. By bickering endlessly, they won't be getting anywhere anytime soon. One thing he knew for sure, a bloody slaughter will be approaching soon.
Isobella rolled her eyes. Did they not know that arguing amongst themselves would only hurt them. She shook her head and let out a bored sigh.
Aidan let out a low growl. "Stop bickering," he hissed, "Vladimir and Prokiam are right that a mindless assault will get us no where."
Carryn looked away and regretted that she said anything after she thought about it it would be pretty stupid just to attack them and then the rest ger mad at us and we have another huge war.
Ehafel's gaze shifted from Vladmir, to Prokiam, then back to Vladmir. He was no military warlord; to his assassin instincts, subtlety seemed the best approach. Still...
He leaned forward, and his front chair legs thudded back on the ground with a clang. "The humans can outnumber us with population alone," he observed quietly. "If they see us as too weak to strike back, they will only gain confidence and increase their number. As he" - he indicated Aidan - "said, I propose we do both.
"Humans have ever feared the supernatural. If we make use of our powers to infiltrate their leaders, their own fear of our powers will spur them into rash actions - such as attacking us on our own front. If they lead an assault on our own stronghold, we have enough worthless infantry" - and here he referred to the vampires' subjugated ranks of half-demons and werewolves - "to occupy them while we strike from behind."
Bryce and Alyth just listened. Alyth almost never spoke in these things, but Bryce always had something to say. He leaned back in his chair and looked around.
"I like what Ehafel's say'n. It makes sense...and it is not total madness as some of you suggested." He looked around and then contiuned, "But it is still bad enough to strike fear into the hearts of those you oppose us. It's the best plan we've got...I say we go with Ehafel's word."
Aidan looked to Bryce who had up until then been silent. Aidan nodded. "I agree." He looked around at the other vampires. He needed the vote to be unanimous with this. It would not be good if vampire was turned against vampire.
Isobella had been listening thoughtfully. When Aidan's eyes fell on her, she spoke up. "I too agree. While I do not believe that there is a perfect solution to this matter. This seems to be the most sensible." She barely bit back another bored sigh. She wanted to end this debating and take some action.
Alexis leaned back into her chair and stretched her arms above her head. The bickering and arguing amongst her fellows bored her beyond words. She was a fighter, a warrior. So long as there was bloodshed she would be content to go along with any plan. Standing up from her chair, she walked over to the window behind her, paying no heed to the ongoing debate.
