"Mind you, Jack," the Doctor said. "That wasn't the only time I saved your life but oh wait, I did..." His voice broke up and a tear fell from his eye. He ignored the question that Terri asked. He couldn't bear saying her name.

Terri frowned when the Doctor didn't answer, but she hoped to start a conversation. "I had a friend once, moved away 5 years ago. Name was Piper, but becaused she always wore red and Pink, every one called her Rose, or Rosie. It helped that was her favorite flower. We grew up together until she moved. Promised to write but never did." Terrie had frowned at the last bit before putting a smile on. "But enough of that, where are you from exactly."

Jack glanced at the Doctor. Rose? He had heard that name before, and so had the Doctor.

The Doctor tried his best to look cheerful but he ended up with a funeral face. He ignored Jack as he looked around London idly. It was Christmas time and even though it wasn't snowing, he could feel the air of it. The few joy Christmas songs were played by little Father Christmas in their brass instruments. With this and Rose in mind, he noticed something odd. Especially when the Father Christmases leveled their instruments at them. "Oh no," the Doctor said. "Take cover!" The Father Christmas began to fire their weapons as he pulled his friends down.

Jack threw himself to the ground, his years of military training taking over. "Father Christmas?!" Jack muttered, half in surprise and half in disbelief. "I know I've done some bad things in my life. but I always figured I'd get coal in my stocking, not a gun blast in my gut"

"Oh, I've seen these before," said the Doctor. "Pilotfish. Always come during Christmas. Why, oh why, Christmas."

Terri looked up after the Doctor pulled her down. "Pilotfish? Stupid if you ask me." She lifted herself up and looked at the Santa's then looked at the Doctor. "How did you defeat them before? What are they made of?"

"Becuse Christmass is a time in which people celebrate presants...and they bring the gift of death" Roe called back to him, hopeing to distract him from Rose. She felt herself being pulled down next to Jack and smiled slightly, before pulling a small blaster out of her pocket.

"Umm, let me think," the Doctor said. He took out his sonic screwdriver and located the area where they controlled the Robot Santas. It was in a shopping complex nearby. The Doctor swore. He knew what else would be there. "Ok, on my mark, run," commanded the Doctor. "Now!!!" He took the nearest person's hand, Terri's, and sprinted towards the shopping complex.

Terri let out a gasp as the Doctor took her hand and ran. But soon she started to feel the slightest bit of excitment. Meanwhile her other hand was had let go of her suitcase.

Roe ran out after them, keeping her blaster trained on the Robots as she ran. Well, you couldn't blame her. Six months working with the Mercoreans taught you to carry arms at all times, and use them without warning.

As they ran Terri couldn't help but think of what her life was going to be like after this. Yes she had aggreed to join the Doctor, and it was not because she was stupid, she knew there could be risks. Thing was, she had no life here where she was, and what she had was dull. Terri looked up as they ran into the shopping complex.

The Doctor entered the shopping complex and groaned. In the middle of the fountain was one Father Christmas who was flanked by two Christmas tree. "This is going to be difficult," he mused.

Terri, didn't know what to say when she saw the christmas trees. "Doctor? Its that santo controling the trees?" She asked seeing a device in the Santa's hands.

Roe felt a tingling on the back of her neck "DOWN" she yelled a split second before flames exploded from the santa's mouth. "Doctor why can't i just blast them?" she called from behind a bench
