Ragetti had finished mopping the lower deck, and headed upwards to find out his next order. Looking out upon the water, he saw the island the crew was coming upon. Mouth opening and eyes widening, Ragetti pointed to the island and simply gave a grimmaced, but excited smile, "Elizabeth's there."

The ship was definitely sailing straight for her island, no question about it. And if Elizabeth squinted, she could just make out black sails and a black flag with a white skull and a tiny red bird on it. Jack! What's he doing here? she wondered. I doubt he's here just to say hello - he probably needs something. What else is new?

Painful memories of her life raced through her mind, her dad beating her with a whip, her drunk mom yelling all sorts of bad stuff at her and her friends laughing at her for dressing badly. Tears now flowed freely down her face as she sobbed into her knees, unaware of her surroundings.

Barbossa growled, he hadn't slept well the night before. Stomping over to the door, he wrenched it open. Upon seeing Vari, he softened a bit. Unaware of anyone behind him or anywhere near him James let out a slight sigh and then began walking. Was it just him or could he hear water? But then again it seemed like in this desolate place he was seeing and hearing many things which were simply not there. That seemed to be the theme of this place. No one was there, nothing was there, he wasn't even sure where 'there' was. Never in his whole life had he been as confused as he was now.

James slowly turned around at the noise, but on scanning the area he found there was nothing there 'great. now you're just letting this barren wasteland get to you.' he sighed in frustration as he continued up the sand dune. Walking in sand was a lot harder than it looked, but it gave him time to think and try to answer the many questions spinning through his mind. Most of them had to do with what was happening, where was he, and was he really dead... and then his thoughts turned to Elizabeth.

Nicolas Applegate, most people had just called him Cole in his former life, sat on a deserted beach. That was it, he was alone, there was no-one there but endless mountains of sand. He picked up a handful of the warm stuff and just let it drift through his hand. He was trying to recollect what had happened only a few months ago. He had been alone and it had been dark, but that's all he could remember and he had been trying to re-gather his memory of that night all these past months. However, in this place he wasn't sure about time or anything anymore and he was starting to forget many things.
