He smiled caustically, pushing off of the tree, and took two slow steps forward.
The swamp had grown suddenly quiet, the hum and drone of bugs and knats muting, as if all manner of life ceased to exist. Gabriel's harsh voice rang throughout the forest, growing louder and louder; a deep screeching mixed with gutteral growls and snarling. He had suddenly grown, becoming even more bulking than he was before. He arched his back over, hollowing his chest, the faint glimmer of his tattoo's suddenly shredding as two wings protruded violently from his flesh, a sick acidic-like blood dripping from them, and burning the ground. They were huge; when fully extended they were of thirteen feet in length. Large black feathers crowned the top of his wings, then ended, the rest of them bat-like, with a thick web of skin. At the end of each wing a dark thorn resided at the tip, like a bone. As he hollered in pain, his voice thickened.
Large clouds of black mist swirled around him, making it impossible to see anyone or anything three feet behind it. It smelled rancid and toxic.
Lightning seemed to flicker in his dark optics, that were once a wintry blue, but were now black and hollowed-like, the whites of his eyes no longer visible.
" Karma."

Her horse reared back, and Enyalie was tossed to the ground as the frightened creature galloped away from Dante. Standing up, she glared him. "And this is supposed to frighten me?" She picked up her sword. "Well that is just too bad. You'll have to do better than that," she said with a smirk.

Enyalie unhooked the quiver from her back and dropped the bow to the ground. Drawing out a dagger, she brought her sword up and checked to make sure there was still a knife concealed in her boot. She lightly stepped forward, and watched to see what Dante would do. Tilting her head to the side, she tipped her face up to the dim light so as to see her opponent better. "Do you believe in the theory of 'karma,' Dante?..."

She stepped forward in a flash of movement and sliced the feather that had fallen; it fell to the ground in two neatly cut pieces. "Luckily for you, Dante, I don't believe in karma. Else, you'd already be dead. And you'd come back as a rat, if not as what you already are." She smirked. "I'd rather be the rat, personally."

And Enyalie laughed. A cold and bitter laugh that echoed curiously between the trunks of trees, through the leaves and branches. "You wonder, do you not? Do I keep you guessing, Dante? I do hope so. For what not to gain if by chance you do not dare to do? Actions show more than words, and if you are quite as clever as I believe you to be you will mark them well. Over these months I have imagined countless battles, none of which I can say end truly well for you, and some of them not for me either." She looked out at him with dark and cloudy eyes. "If you are quite tired of my talking, you can always try to kill me. Although I cannot say my voice will not linger, and whisper to haunt you for eternity."

Alivyre stood and watched the scene unfolding before her, her falcon Thorwen came down and landed on her shoulder letting out a ear splitting scream, Alivyre whispered somthing to the falcon in her druid language, and the bird flew off, follwed by her stallion Eclipse.

Aliyvre then stepped forward, her hands were clapsed together in front her her, she looked up at them with her ice blue eyes, that seemed to dance with delight.
"What is it you both wish to seek?" she asked them, she turned to Enyalie
"You seemed to have spent most of your life hunting down and tracking this creature, and it seems as if you've become obbsessed with him, and you" she turned to Dante.
"Your interested in power it seems, forever trying to be right - though this is my own opinion of you both and as i like to say everyone is allowed an opinion" she smiled and watched them as the skys above turned to dark thick black thunder clouds, untill finally they broke and a torrent of rain water came crashing down them, and the loud crack of thunder was sounded directly above them, then finally a large bolt of lightning hit the ground between her and Enyalie and Dante.

She glanced momentarily at Alivyre. "It is only those who have power that seek it." She looked back at Dante, snickering. "I would hardly call that thing powerful. And as for myself, I cannot say that I am not obsessed. I live for the very moment of his blood spilling." With a shrug, she pushed her sword down into the soil, and leaned lightly against the hilt, a thoughtful look on her face. "Although..Dodging questions is fun. I can't really say you would remember at any length..."
