Bootstrap nodded shortly at the approaching man. "Hector," he said simply, eyeing the apple in Barbossa's hand. "Had to stop for a snack, did we?"

'Hector' Barbossa grinned and nodded, taking another bite of the apple. "Aye...." His voice sounded rather slushy, considering the copious amount of apple that was in his mouth.....

After Jack stopped laughing at his amusing joke he stared up at the Black Pearl. His dream was now finally turning into reality. This was his ship, this was his crew, and he was the Captain, everything seemed perfect...but in a way, almost to perfect.
He shrugged it off and waltzed up on board, "Begin to set sail!" His head turned to meet the others on the ship.

" 's your cue," Bootstrap told Barbossa, just a hint of sarcasm hidden in his otherwise innocent tone. "Time to do yer job, mate." Clapping the man on the back, he hurried off to help raise the anchor.

Barbossa waves a messy salute to Jack and turns to the men. "you know what t'do, boys, now get crackin'!! Or else it'll be the whip cracking.... On your backs!!!...." His voice roars out over the ship as the sails begin to unfurl and the anchor is hauled up.....

Jack walked towards the mast and looked out over the sea. The sun was coming above them now and it glared off the sea. He squinted his eyes and glanced over at Bootstrap.

As soon as everything was set in order, Bootstrap made his way over to join Jack. Staring at the fading speck of land that was Tortuga, he suddenly felt cold. "Jack, you ever think about the fact that we might not come back from this journey?" he asked quietly. "Or any journey, for that matter..."
