Aadi wondered at the reason for no Goblins in the tap room. It wasn't like them to just leave it alone, rather it was on fire. She walked swiftly but her eyes were peered cautiously around the room for any sign of the Goblins. Though on the side of Goblins, she never found it hard to take a few from the population. They irked her. And if she was to be already in trouble for the Vrini from before, adding a few Goblins to her plate wouldn't be such a bad thing. Suddenly she saw a Goblin blade come through the smoke from her right.
"Goblins!" she hissed, as she moved from the blade. She hadn't noticed Syleal was already engaging with two other Goblins.

Rienwyn didn't dodge aside in time, and the blade struck her in the side. A small groan of pain escaped her as she moved her sword quickly and beheaded the goblin, then she cried out again in pain as the sword was, quite literally, jerked out of her side.

Aadi saw the sword puncutre Rienwyn's side and knew the blood would follow as the sword was removed. Cursing, she went to the girls other side, slinging her arm around her waist to support her. A few Goblins saw the two women, and went towards them hungrily. Aadi smirked, as she reached out to her power and not a few moments later a small controlled circle of fire consumed those Goblins.

Feeling the blood already pouring down her side, Rienwyn cursed herself mentally. Way to go, idiot.. she thought angrily, pressing her hand hard to her side, in an attempt to hopefully, stem some of the bleeding.

"Syleal get out of here!" she yelled above the fire's sounds.
She helped Rienwyn towards the door slowly, in an effort to get her some help. They needed to do something about that wound fast, and tending it inside a burning building was not a good idea.

Rienwyn winced at every jarring motion, and began to feel herself growing tired and weak...It was poisoned.. the thought came weakly, and somehow, Rienwyn knew it was true..

Aadi felt Rienwyn start to weaken. She looked down with concern and say a pained expression on the woman's face. She was stabbed, of course she is in pain! But... what if it was poisoned? Nasty Goblins, curse them to the shadows! she thought feverently. She steered Rienwyn over towards the town's well, near the Inn as was to be expected. Gently she propped the girl against the well, leaning on her better side. Drawing water from the well she removed her scarf from her head and sumerged it in the water. Ripping the cloth open slightly more from Rienwyn's side she began to staunch the blood from the wound.
"We're going to have to do our best but you need to see a healer."

Sylead guarded Rienwyn and Aadi as the party abadoned the building to the inferno. He looked Rienwyn's wound carefully and said, "She's been poisoned with isteilus. A rare deadly poison, only found in certain regions."

Istelius..only used by Durzhum.. the thought said weakly in Rienwyn's mind, though from where, she didn't know. Her eyes then closed of their own accord, and her head lowered towards her chest. Feeling something shaking in her pack, shen then groaned softly and opened her eyes, then reached for it weakly. "Someone...get that bundle out of there...please.." she said weakly.

Puzzled, Aadi reached to undo the pack from Rienwyn's back and then opened, taking out the bundle and placing it in the girl's lap. She glanced again briefly at the bundle before going back to tending the wound.

The wrappings around the bundle began to fall off of their own accord, and Rienwyn opened her eyes slightly and looked down. There was a plain oval egg, about as large as a human head, laying in her lap, and it was shaking violently. After a few moments, cracks formed in the shell, and steam issued from the interior.

"Here, try using this," Syleal said, holding out two leaves of another poison, tisertis. "It counters the effects of isteilus. It might work. You are going to have to chew this." He said to Rienwyn.

Aadi's attention came back to the bundle when she heard the cracks. It wasn't a bundle anymore though. It was an egg. She gasped slightly when she realized what it was. She felt overcome to ask where it had come from but due to Rienwyn's present state she restrained herself. She watched the egg, as her hands kept to work on the girl's side.

Rienwyn barely nodded in acknowledgement of Syleal's statement, since her eyes were glued to the egg, which was now steaming quite a lot. Pieces of the shell suddenly went flying, as if the egg had exploded, and curled up tightly was the small form of a baby dragon, one with brilliant sapphire and amethyst scales.

"Where did you get that," Syleal asked. He was sure he had something like that somewhere. His parents left it for him as his inheritance. He still have it with him.

The baby dragon looked around until its intelligent eyes met Rienwyn and the two of them seemed engulfed in one another.
Well, this is good. Aadi thought, I did find something. So Durzhum won't be as furious with my actions. Her eyes drifted to the little dragon. Her thoughts drifted to things she'd been told long ago, but the smell of blood brought her back to the present.
"Rienwyn, take the leaves from Sylead to stop the poison, then we can bind you up."
