River ate all he could at home and then left to go back to the stables.
When he got there he noticed he wasn't the only one that was having horse problems
" Jack your horse ok" He said as he walked into the stables and saw him checking out Step's leg.
Rogue and Bud pushed their heads out of their stalls. Rogue reached out and sbotted on River and Bud just stood there looking at him

Hailey followed the trail back to the stable, and dismounted at the barn. She gave Majesty a carrot from a bag of carrots in her pocket. She untacked Majesty quickly, and brushed Majesty until the filly shined.
Hailey led Majesty to the field, and unclipped the leadrope from the halter. She leaned on the gate for a moment, and watched her filly prance about...

Sparrow led Lin inside and untacked her and groomed her. She placed her in her stable and took out her other horse, Sap Run. "Easy, girl," Sparrow groomed her, too and led the two mares out ot their paddocks. Then she came back in and mucked out their stables.

Hailey went back to the barn, and went to the stall that held Dragon, a white, high spirited, colt that was even younger than Majesty. Dragon's stall was right next to a stall were a girl was mucking. Hailey put the leadrope on Dragon's halter, and led him to some cross ties, were she started grooming him...

Mia had gone back to the woman and was now leading the tired and thin old horse in to the stables.
The horse was very shy and she'd taken a lot of catching, Mia was scratched by thorns but she kept going and the weak mare was now in safe hands. She put her in Marie's stable for the time being and went off to find some high protien food which she would gradually increase until it was a full feed, but she couldn't do that straight away or the mare would become sicker.
She smiled at the girl grooming her horse and carried on to the feed store.

Hailey smiled shyly back, and started braiding the colt's mane and twisting the braids to make buds that ran up the neck. Hailey did the same with a the forelock. She stood back and admired her work. Dragon had his head down as if he was embarresed to have his mane done up.
"Oh, Dragon... You look nice, why so glum about?" Hailey said softly to the horse, who pricked his ears as if he relized what she said.
Hailey hummed a song from Pirates of the Caribean soundtrack she had while tacking up Dragon, then gave him a carrot...

Mia nodded slightly and peered over the door, the mare was now drinking furiously. "I think I'm going to call her Weeping Willow, Willow for short. Her previous owner didn't seem to have a clue what she was called."

Sparrow came back in, deciding she would ride Sap Run after lunch. She looked around for a chore to do. She saw a pile of dirty buckets and headed for them. Sparrow volunteered around Green Acres. She turned up the radio on a country station and began scrubbing buckets.

As Mia was the stable manager she was able to quickly find another stable which she could use for Willow. She went in to one of the older, less used part of the Green Acres stable blocks and found an empty stable. She knew it not to be used by anyone because it said so in the books and it was also the smallest stable, more pony-sized than horse-sized.
She put in some shavings, made up a small hay net and filled one of the brightly coloured rubber water buckets. Then she went back towards the other side of the stables were Willow was.
She walked past Sparrow and smiled, "You get the best jobs don't you Sparrow?"

Ashleygh was mucking out stalls, and she took the wheelbarrow to the small dump they had. She finished, and went to visit her other horse, Star, who was expecting a foal now.
