Padme was asleep in the back of the ship, laying on the hard, metal floor. She had gone to sleep late the previous night, since she had settled all of themselves in the city of Mos Eisley, located on Tatooine. She asked R2 to watch over the ship, as everyone slept.
All seemed peaceful, until a loud explosion came from what seemed like only a couple miles away. This made Padme's eyes snap open. She sat up straight as a needle and then looked around. She rubbed her eyes a bit and then quickly got on her feet. She ran to the front of the ship and looked out the window. What she saw was the changing of history. There in front of them, were thousands, if not, millions of soldiers coming toward the town of Tatooine from the open desert.
She swallowed hard and looked over to Obi-Wan and Anakin. "We have some company..." She told them, in a somewhat shouted tone.

"Padme?" said Anakin in a worried tone. The young Padawan sat up quickly, but just as fast as he sat up, he came falling back down.
Anakin's face had cringed and he grasped the edge of his back. He had forgotten all about the injury.

Obi-Wan's eyes snapped open as he heard Padme's shout. Without having to ask questions, Kenobi ran to the window and looked out, "We don't have much time. Hurry! Start the ship and let's get out of here. We must contact the Jedi temple and find out more about what we are dealing with here."

Padme quickly nodded and then started pressing random buttons to start the engine of the ship up. She bit her lower lip softly, while doing this since she was nervous about all of the troopers that seemed to be getting closer and closer to them. Finally, she get everything fired up and then they took off to the Jedi Temple. She looked over her shoulder slightly and looked to Anakin. "Are you okay?" She asked him, softly.

It was a lie, but Padme would never know it.

Obi-Wan tried to make contact with the Jedi Temple, but it seemed that no one was available....or something worse. "I can only hope we are doing the right thing in this matter," Kenobi said to Padme.
With his hands resting on his seat, he rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

Padme nodded slightly to Obi-Wan and then looked back ahead, to see where she was going. She sighed deeply and then punched in the coordinates for the planet. "Everyone buckle up. We're going into lightspeed." She told Obi-Wan and Anakin, softly.

Kenobi jumped as he saw Anakin approach Padme, "Anakin! What are you doing? You should be resting!"
He stood up and began to lead Anakin back to his bed, "Padme can fly just fine without your help. And don't forget, my young padawan, that your master can fly this ship as well!"

Padme looked over her shoulder and glared to Anakin a bit. "What are you suggesting, Anakin? That just because I'm a Que-" She then stopped herself and cleared her throat a bit. She knew that she wasn't one anymore. It just wasn't publically announced yet.
