(Guys, think good and hard what yer characters are going to do here, because, remember the Pearl is supernaturally blessed with speed, and she can even outrun the Dutchman...so, make sure ye think about it.)

((I finally went to Pirates 2 yesterday and I am now reallyt understanding where you are talking about.. Black Spot.. Kraken!  lol ))

"Yes, if we had something that got rid of the black spot..." Wes was blank. He never was out of ideas, but this stumped him.
( I seriously don't know what to do next... but maybe if Will came on the ship, somehow, then we could kinda bargain, or something... 'cos Elizabeth's on the Pearl too... meh it's too hard. )

When Dylan called Barret 'Mr. Turner', he walked up and put his nose just an inch from hers. "Barret will suffice, captain." He was starting to get frustrated because he had the feeling that they were never going to be able to pull it off.
"Sam, can you grab a bucket and start bailing water? We're sinking fast, and if we want to be ona ship wehile we're taking our precious time deciding what to do, then we have to start doing something. I'll try to find some of the leaks and patch them with something to hold them long enough so that we can figure out what we're doing..." he held out a bucket for Dylan. "Care to help us?"

((well, even if the pearl is blessed with speed, we'll just need to find a loop hole and make them stop. like some other port near Tortuga that the poor sinking people can make it too... the pearl can stop there because Jack has run out of rum.... phooy, no way to do this with out doing our own A-U thing...))

(Well, I'm not sure why the Pearl would stop at Tortuga again, seeing as they just left Tortuga...uh, Jack's next stop is where the chest of Davey Jone's is...but maybe I could change somethin'...)

(Ok, going to EXTREME measures and I'm twistin' the story line around savvy?)
Jack sat, inclined in his Captain's chair. He clutched his jar of dirt, with focused eyes, feeling as if any moment the Kraken would appear and drag him and the Pearl to the depths.
So, without further ado, Jack took action. He waltzed himself up above deck, still holding the jar of dirt mind you. He came to Gibbs and shouted, "Mr. Gibbs, we 'ave the need to sail in the shallow ends! O'er there we will make land...I need to get off the water for a day, savvy?"
Mr. Gibbs turned around to see the piece of land Jack had gestured to. He squinted his eyes at the shadowed island. "Cap'n?"
Jack snapped his face towards Gibbs and said, "Come on snap to it!"
With a shrug Mr. Gibbs started to shout orders to the crew members, "Get this ship to that lil' island o'er there! Hurry ye sea rats! Get to it! We must reach it before sunrise says Cap'n!" He turned his back away from the scattering crew and mumbled, "Bad luck to make land on that island says I..."

Wes was staring at the Black Pearl, willing it with all his mind to suddenly slow down. But it turned... its was going inland!!
"MATES! They're goin' inland!!! Head for that island!" he shouted, while he grabbed a bucket and begun to get shovel the water out of the boat at a terrified pace.

The Black Pearl dangerously, cut across the ocean, suddenly heading eastward towards the black shadowed island.
With great speed, the Pearl's sails in less than half hour, brought herself to the island.
The Pearl now sat on the island, crooked in the sand and resting in the cool breeze. The majestic detail of the Black Pearl showed itself in the rising sun.

Cat had been making herself virtually unseen about the deck, only coming out on night watch and rarely doing anything beneficial. But when the boat started leaking, she came up on top. "D'you know there're holes in the boat?!...." She shoots a glare at Dylan, then grabs a few soaked rags and stalks back down into the hold, where she proceeds to fill in a few of the smaller gaps by stuffing the rags into them and then coating them with tar......
