Jack smiled, meanwhile Dave was returning to the caves and found Locke sitting there. Dave sat down on the other side of the dead fire and lookedat him, he was carving something out of a small piece of wood.

"So did you hear that Kate`s gun has gone missing?"

"No, who took it?"

"Exactly, we don`t know..."

"But you have clues, if you begin taking people off the suspect list then you`ll have your thief. Logically Jack would be the one, but why would he hit Kate from behind when he cares for everyone`s safety? Saweyer on the other hand has been reading a book all day under everyone`s watc on the beach, The foreigners don`t even know we have guns probably, Sayid could be a suspect or Boone, but they are close with Jack so they would have told him. That leaves few people.."

"Biran can be counted out because he was with us and Sawyer didn`t have it as he tried our luck with him..."

"Exactly, that leaves Charlie, Shannon, Hurley and some other people whom I don`t know really, but Biran might since he hasn`t been around us that much I believe. Now Shannon has Boone taking care of her and she has never probably never held a gun so she doesn`t have it, Hurley just doesn`t fit the picture and Charlie is close with Claire watching over her it seems."
