(Maybe we should get some action in ^_^) Laphari stayed steady in her place, her influence upon the air protecting them from the upward wind surges. Suddenly from behind came a strange side draft, throwing the shield off skew, allowing a burst of the upward flow to surge through the group.

(I stayed up all last night thinking of some!)

Crymson winced as the Dawn Magic that Dawnfire had cast flickered brightly several times.

"Dawnfire, whats going on?"

"Something's affecting my magic, i can't sense what it is."Dawnfire said to her and closed his eyes, thinking hard in an attempt to steady his magic. Crymson also closed her eyes, sending tendrils of magic as far out from her as possible in an attempt to find the culprits.

"No..."She said and opened her eyes. "It can't be."

"Can't be what? I didn't sense anything."Dawnfire replied.

"Exactly."

Granit's wings were in a comfortitable, half way out position when a thermal got her and she was jolted upward and around the wind tunnel. The jolt woke Rena, and almost making her brake her neck, but was still made a lot of pain...

Etain was flying on an outside edge of the semi-circle when the side draft hit. He neighed wildly as it knocked him into the midst of the other riders. Sorcha grabbed the saddle horn to keep from falling off. Etain struggled to get back to his place.

Granit eased herself to a gentle speed, now flapping. Rena was have a hard time not fainting from the pain in her neck. She could barely stay one even with the saddle. And to make things worse to her, the saddle girth had been loosened in the jolt and now the saddle was slipping to the side....

Noticing Rena's pain, Sorcha guided Etain till he was next to Granit, right behind the flapping wings. Sorcha reached forward, trying to help steady Rena.

Rena grasped Sorcha's arm with one hand, and held Granit's mane tight with the other. The saddle slipped, and went around to Granit's belly, Rena squeeled and slid with it. She still held tight to Granit's mane, and had a grasp Sorcha's arm, feeling she was starting to black out...

Sorcha clutched Rena's arm firmly as the saddle slid. "I'm going to pull you over here." she said loudly, over the rush of wings. Etain dropped a few feet till he was below and to the side of Granit. Sorcha took a deep breath, grabbed the saddle horn for leverage, and pulled Rena towards her.

"Everyone stay here until we figure out whats wrong!" Dawnfire roared as the Dawn Magic flickered brightly again. Suddenly everything went black.

"Dawnfire do something!"Crymson shouted as a wave of heat shot up from the lava far below. Soon the waves of heat were coming every few seconds.

"I'm trying!"Dawnfire roared again as a thermal ballooned them up, close to the ceiling. Dawnfire drifted down, avoiding the thermals as best as he could.

"Everyone follow us! We have to get out of here. Forget the wind tunnel, we have to move!"Crymson shouted as Dawnfire shot forward, his wings straining agains the wild thermals. Crymson cast a medium sized light to hover over them.

"Come on! We have to get out! Follow the light!"

Laphari struggled to gather her senses, after having them thrown slightly by the thermals, but Shiraso did most of the work in keeping things straight, following Crymson to the best of his ability.

Laphari cringed against the pain caused by the inability to control the air force around her, though there was little harm being done to either horse or rider at the moment.

"Grr, I hate fire!" Mirima complained to her mount as the heat bursts surrounded the group. Moran's large wingspan helped to keep them somewhat balanced until Mirima could create a force shield around the two. Now slightly happier without the heat, Mirima was able to think clearly. Moran, follow Dawnfire and Crymson. We may need to help the others.

Rena fought to keep counsious, and climbed back up ontop of Granit's back, sitting on the girth of the saddle that now was on Granit's stomach.
"Thankyou," she said to Sorcha, and grabbed Granit's mane with both hands, and leaned over her neck.
Granit followed Dawnfire as quickly as she could with the saddle on her belly, and ended up at the back of the group as Rena lost consiousness...
