Jack ignored Pintel's words and pretended not to hear them. He snatched the apple back from Devina, knowing he couldn't eat it, just felt like taking it from her. He cleared his throat, "Well, gents..." He started backing away into the Captain's quarters, "We'll, talk this 'ere dicussion in the mornin'..savvy? Now, if ye will be so kind to let me rest, and not to come barging in during the night, it would be appreciated..savvy?" He smirked nervously and before anyone could speak the door to his quarters was shut with a loud slam....

((Yes, and BEG4G is going to be yelled at next time she gets on...I told her just two nights ago to check the RPG, and she's like "Oh, I do sometimes"...but she doesn't post when she checks it...I can't really post much because the crew doesn't have much to do...unless, of course, you'd like to begin implementing our little plot twist...  ))
Blackbird forced her way into the cabin and closed the door behind her. "What were the manuscripts the bald guy was talking about?" she asked, standing there with her arms folded across her chest.

Jack stopped and leaned his head back and shut his eyes for a few moments. "Blackbird.." His eyes opened and he looked at her, "Leave me right now, for yer own good..."

Will followed Blackbird through the cabin. "Okay Blackbird, it's time you stop running off from me all the time. As your brother I'm inclined to make sure you are safe. Even though you're perfectly capable of taking care of yourself, sometimes it is good to have someone to watch your back." he said solomly.(sp?) "Now Jack, what IS this about manuscripts? The crew have been talkin' about it all morning"

Jack blinked and glanced over at the two siblings in digust. "Fine, stay 'ere..make yerselves comfy..just veer away from me and stay there." He whipped his body back around and went through the drawers yanking out unwanted papers, scrolls, maps and other junk of that sort.
Finally, after some time Jack finally found what he had been looking for. In the bottom of a drawer in the very back lay the Mayan Codex. He reached out a steady hand and grabbed the wooden strips very gently. He pulled it towards his body and blew off some of the dust. He then quickly turned his back around trying desperately for Blackbird and Will not to see...

Blackbird ignored Devina and strode over to Jack, standing on her toes in a futile attempt to see over his shoulder. "Jack, just show me the bloody manuscripts!" she said in exasperation. "We all know about the curse, so there's really no need for secrecy. It's not like we're going to find out anything we shouldn't."
