James had gone, and Fiona had come in with Sirius. He pointedly did not meet Fiona's eyes as he studied the Daily Prophet Arthur Weasely had shoved in his face.

"Two dozen Muggles found dead," he muttered, glancing quickly at Arthur.

Arthur nodded. "Keep reading."

"Dark wizards escape Azkaban..." Still avoiding Fiona's gaze, he looked up at Sirius. "Hey, mate. Look at this."

[Er...wasn't it....er....yeah, it might be around right now....'cause the real "War" started shortly after they graduated or whatever....and they said that there were some supporters before the war, so that allows for a couple of years....so yeah, you can start it now. Dani walked down to breakfast, still sleepy herself. She sat down and, yawning, took some bacon, ham, toast, and eggs. She felt someone kiss the top of her head, then heard a groggy voice say, "Morning."

She rolled her eyes with a smile and said, "Morning, you." She listened as Remus and Arthur Weasley began to talk about something.

Sirius smiled at Danni and slipped his arm around her waist as Remus started to talk to him, he leaned over slightly and started to read the article, he shook his head in disbelief and then moved away to take a bite of his toast.

Fiona looked up and listened to Remus, Arthur and Sirius' conversation, somthing about muggle killings, immediatly she held her hand out to Remus.
"Moony can i have a look at the paper?" she asked smiling defiantly.

Dani smiled softly as she felt Sirius's arm around her waist, but kept to herself as the others began to talk. She was listening intently, but wasn't going to speak until someone spoke to her - why should she?

Remus glanced askance at Fiona before he handed her the Daily Prophet. Her defiant smile tossed him into a tumult of confusion.

Fiona smiled at Remus and took the paper.
"Thankyou Remus" she said sweetly as she shook out the paper and stared at the front page before moving on to the article occasionally clicking her toungue or drumming her fingers on the table.

Mate? Ok, for start this didn't sound good either. First he was an enemy, then date for one night and now, not even 12 hours after everything happened, she called him mate. He was definitely loosing it. Seriously.
He almost didn't hear the next thing she said. Well, to be exact he only heard words not and dump. That already sounded A LOT better. He finally managed to raise his head and look back at her and almost... smile. However, as she continued, even that shadow of the smile faded. It was time for him to explain. Still, for now he didn't want to say the true reason. Something was just, standing in the way, and that something didn't want to let him come clean. So, he decided to tell her, but just one part. She already knew that Remus is a werewolf, but she didn't have to know about the others. He ran his fingers trough his hair once again, took off his glasses and started cleaning them.
"Yes... I knew." he said quietly and put hi glasses back on. He was too nervous "Dumbledore called me last night. He didn't let me leave his office..." he finally managed to look back at her but the look in her eyes almost crushed him again "Oh Lily, I'm so sorry. I should've been there for you. I'm..." he suddenly stopped and stood up "If you don't want to talk to me ever again, I will understand." he almost whispered, turned around and made few steps toward the castle partially hoping that she will stop him.

Lily stood up, hurridly (sp?) and grabbed his arm. What was wrong with her? She should be angry - really angry! But no, she was overwhelmed with sympathy.
"Oh, James!" she said,"I do want to talk to you...Now!" She looekd into his hazel eyes deeply before continuing,"What did you say about Dumbledore again?"
Lilys mind was a mess. To dump, or not to dump? To forgive, or not to forgive? To love or not to love?

James stopped in tracks as she caught his arm. He turned around and faced her immediately. He just couldn't look away so he kept staring at her, in her eyes. He couldn't tell her. He wanted to but, he couldn't. He promised. No one knew. Well... Almost.
"I... I can't tell you." he said slowly still looking straight at her eyes. He simply couldn't lie to her. Well, he couldn't tell the truth either so this was the only possible choice "I have promised. Please don't ask me to tell you."
