Felicity came back a few minutes later, carrying something wrapped in a cloth in one hand, as well as a small drawstring bag in her other hand. "Does Peter have a fever?" she asked, handing her the cloth.

Ev turned and went back to Peter's room, again moving quietly so as not to wake him if he had fallen asleep. She knelt beside his bed again and took out the Wrimene, mashing it and mixing it with a couple of drops of water. She then looked at Peter, and almost shook his shoulder, but hesitated - what if she set him off in pain again? Well, there was one other way..she touched his cheek, hand shaking a bit. "Peter," she whispered.

"That stuff again.." Peter muttered, wrinkling his nose slightly as he opened his mouth. After taking some, he choked it down, and breathed in sharply again.

Ev watched him apprehensively, then smiled and said wryly, "You know, if you weren't so reluctant about taking it, it might not taste as bad." She then reached for the other leaves. "Here, chew a couple of these, as well...they're for your fever."
