Portia made it to shore and fell in the sand. She gasped for air and looked around, trying to find something to open her hand cuffs with. She looked over her shoulder, and saw Jack and Devina just barely walking. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a few moments. She slowly stood up and ran inside the town.

Portia finally made it in the town, without being noticed. She looked around, trying to find something like a blacksmith's shop. She sighed and looked somewhat frantic.
She couldn't find one after a while of searching and she just found a soldier, took his sword and slammed it down on her cuffs, making it break. She handed the surprised looking soldier back his sword and gave him a cheeky smile. "Many thanks, mate." She bowed to him, and then ran off to find the nearest pub.

Portia made it to a pub and sat down slowly. She ran her fingers through her hair. She loved the feeling of being free. She looked up and saw the bartender in front of her. "Is there anything that I can getcha?" Portia smiled a little. "Can I ave a pint o' rum, mate?" The bartender smiled and nodded. "You sure can, lass." He then started getting the drink ready. He was watching her silently, while doing so. "So, where did ya get that nasty cut on yer neck?" Portia looked down to her hands in her lap and sighed. "I was bein stupid..." She told him, softly.

Jack didn't say a word, and even if he wanted to he couldn't. The smile slowly fell from his face but that mischievious flicker in his eyes remained.

Jack's eyes remained the same. His face moved no muscle. The breathing was getting harder for him, but he didn't dare show it. Not long after this Jack took some action and lifted his foot and kicked as hard as he could on Devina's shin.
