Meanwhile, Jack was still laying in the pit, passed out from the hard blow of rock to the back of his skull. He was now, off in another world, filled with clouds, treasure, rum, and...spears?

Bill's head glanced downward at Jack's body before him. Jack was motionless and Bill began to worry if he would be all right....the crew might think mutiny would have something to do it....and possibly Bill would be called the calprit.
Slowly leaning forward, he said, "Jack? Hello? Jack? Mate?"

For the second time, Gibbs made it out of the pit. He groped around in the sand for a while before grabbing a vine and tossing it down to Bootstrap. "Comin', Bill?"
While he waited for Bootstrap and Jack to finish doing whatever they were doing, his eyes roved the beach futilely for any sign of the Black Pearl.
That was funny. He could have sworn they'd anchored here...

Robert could only breathlessly shake his head, for he had wounds of his own. "The natives seem to be gone for now. I think we should - "
Suddenly, drums palpitated from an unknown source. Fearing an ambush at first, he whirled around, pistol in hand. Then he realized the drums weren't anywhere near them. In fact...
Dominating the center of the island was a massive, dormant volcano. This volcano now literally throbbed with savage drumbeats. But instead of murderous, these drums almost seemed to be in celebration...

Bill looked up to Gibbs and shouted, "Uh, Gibbs....I believe we have a problem with our captain." He shuddered at the thought of him possibly or accidentally killing Jack with that large rock.
He pushed and poked Jack's arm, "Jack? Jack? Can you hear me, mate? Jack?"

"Eh, just leave him there..." Gibbs replied absently, still scanning the beach for any sign at all of their ship. His eyes alighted on something most curious. There was the titanic dent in the sand where the Pearl had pulled in to anchor at high tide. And there were a few crates and supplies from the ship scattered about.
But the Black Pearl itself, ghost ship of the Caribbean, had simply vanished.

"That doesn't sound good," Robert groaned, looking up towards the dormant volcano.
Bad thing was, the drums didn't seem intent upon stopping. Good thing was, the beach was coming into sight.
"Hey, look - there's Gibbs," he said excitedly, quickening his pace.

"But Gibbs....we can't just leave him here. The crew will think we've committed mutiny!" he shouted with his head lifted up toward the sky.
Slapping Jack's cheek, he said, "Jack! Get up man. Get up. Jack!"

Gibbs snapped out of his reverie. "What? Speak louder, lad - couldn't hear ye." He tossed the vine over the edge and gestured for Bootstrap to grab until it. "What to do with Jack, eh? Strap him to yer back, that's it," he suggested with an encouraging smile.
"Mr. Gibbs!"
Joshamee looked up to see Robert and Lee stumbling his way.

"That's a good idea, mate," Bill said without hesitation. Grabbing the long green vine, he then proceeded...with much difficulty....to place Jack's limp body on his back and wrap the vine around both of them. "I hope this holds...." he said to Gibbs with a doubtful look.

"Eh, don't worry," replied Gibbs without hesitation and with another encouraging smile. "If ye fall, the worst that can happen is yer head splitting open." He turned to Lee and Robert. "Took ye two louts long enough. Why don't ye come lend me a hand?"
