15 miets later she returned and saw with relif that he was sleeping. She swiftly changed into a silk nightie, since she felt they were safe she didn't keep her cloths on and slipped into the other bed next to him, it was a hot night so she left the covers off, falling swiftly into a deep sleep.

Sounder woke up in the morning and looked over to see that Ydal was still asleep . He looked at her for a moment and got himself a poptart from God know's where. and sat down watching her . He wanted her to wake up. He wanted to talk to someone for the first time in a long time.....

Claire was laying on her bed when Erik suddenly got out of his bed and moved towards the door. "What are you doing?" she asked concerned.
"Planning," Erik replied without facing her.
"Planning for what? The next mission begins tomorrow. Janus hasn't set a time limit for us."
"Yes, Claire. I know. But you know me."
"Always one step ahead, yes I know. Just make sure you come back here soon."
"Of course, Claire." He walked towards her to kiss her, opened the door, and walked out. Claire sighed and sipped a little of her water she had ordered. Erik would have made a good lover if he wasn't such a perfectionist.

After three hours of planning, Erik dragged himself to his room. He was extremely exhausted. He found out that Kan-shiad was in a private estate, twenty miles of Istanbul. Kan-shiad was not only a terrorist leader but a CEO of a large Arab oil company. He mainly funded the terrorist group the Death Bringers were targetting. When he got to his room, he found Claire reading a book near the bedside. She was obviously waiting for him. "Hey," she called, closing her book. Erik moved to her and picking her up, embraced her. They kissed and slept. When Erik woke up, he began preparing everything for the trip to the Mediterranean base and Kan-shiad's estate.

Ydal was woken by a sound like a door opening and her hand flew to the dagger strapped to her leg..then she rembered where she was and streached then sat up and smiled sleepily at Sounder "Goodmorning"

Claire woke up to see Erik sipping some green tea and all of their clothes, equipment, and belongings packed. "I didn't know what clothes you might want to bring," he explained. "So I just packed what I thought you might have liked."
"Thanks, Erik," she said, getting up and kissing him. "Is that all you eat? Green tea and Perriers? I'm convinced that is what you live on."
"No, I had a bagel earlier. Do you want breakfast? I can get it here in a second."
"Sure. Nothing fancy. Just some toast and milk will be fine."
As Erik ordered her food to be brought out, Claire wondered what Erik had worked three hours planning on.

As Claire ate, Erik asked a strange question, "Do you remember your parents?"
Claire looked up and repeated, "My parents? Yes, I remeymber them. They died in a terrorist attack. Why?"
"That's strange, my parents died in a terrorist attack, too. An Islamist group, bombed a subway station in New York."
She felt awkward now. Death Bringers hardly talked about the past; Janus felt it made them weak and frail.
"Weird," she commented. "My parents were also killed in New York. Which means..."
"Both of our parents died at the same time and we didn't know it."
"Yes....but whoever planned it is gone. They released him."
"No, Claire," Erik said. "He's dead. I killed him. I had to."
Claire fell silent for a moment and said, "Thank you. I feel much easier, knowing the man who brought my parents' death is now dead. So what exactly is the plan you spend three hours on?"
"Easy," Erik said, relieved. "We gas the place with Ydal's poisons, go in, and finish what is left. Don't worry, I brought gas masks for us to use when we poison the place. I think we should check on them and tell them the plan."
Claire nodded and grabbed her bag while Erik, grabbin his, opened the door and knocked on the Darklights' room.

Erik knocked again as Claire asked, "So we are going to gas this guy inside his estate. What about his wife, children?"
Erik replied, "As far as we know, Kan-shiad is single and doesn't have any children. Everyone in his estate are terrorists. Even his maid is a terrorist. She spys on people for him. So there aren't any civillians in that place." He tapped the door again with his knuckles, saying, "What is taking them so long?"
