(Ok, then...I will try my best to remember...)
Paris awoke from a loud explosion. Sitting up in bed, his head twisted to the balcony. He then hobbled toward it and looked down below at the city of Troy. The first two layers were burning as flames began to crawl to the third level. His eyes were frantic with fright....had the Greeks actually entered the strong walls of Troy? But how? And when?
He could hear the shouts of men rampaging through the city, sounds of broken pottery, women screaming, and children crying.

Helen had not been awakened by the sounds of the townspeople screaming, the clang of metal, or the crackling of the fire, she woke up when she felt the warm body beside her shift and move away from her. Slowly getting up from bed she let her mind awaken and fir the first time she heard the horrific chaos happening outside. Pulling on her robe she moved out of bed and hurried over to Paris's side on the balconly. Cool blue eyes widened and grew dark in fear.
"By the Gods!" She breathed out when she saw the burning buildings, women and children running for their lives while the men fought to save them.

Paris' eyes looked over the city in terror. One by one, every man of Troy was being killed before his eyes...the Greeks were too strong....much stronger than he had imagined. Women were being captured and some even killed as well.
Turning to Helen and twisting her shoulders toward him, he looked deep into her eyes and said, "We need to escape! Now! Do not grab anything to take with you. We must leave with only the clothes on our backs!"
He then ran into the bedroom and grabbed a well lit torch and his sword. "Let us leave now, Helen!"

She was so shocked that all she could do was nod when Paris told her taht they had to leave now. Grabbing another torch she lifted her long sleep gown and followed Paris out of the door, her heart beating fast as she watched Trojan children running down the streets in search of their most likely deceased families. She felt a wave of guilt knowing that she had started this.

As Paris ran out of his chamber and into the long marble hallway of the palace, he looked behind himself at Helen. Grasping her hand, he headed toward the back of the palace...near the gardens. "We must run through the gardens in order to reach a secret tunnel."

"Okay..." She whispered into the chaotic night. Her words were most likely unheard but she nodded to Paris to show she heard him as they ran through the garden. But then she stopped, head moving to the side, her golden hair following her motion as she looked down in the courtyard, her eyes locked with Achillies.

Paris was yanked backward. "Helen! What are you doing? Let's go!"
Seeing that she wasn't paying attention to him, his eyes followed the direction of hers and soon he too was staring upon Achilles.

"Paris..." She whispered remembering the exact face of Achilles when he killed Hector on the field outside of Troy's walls. Helen tried to turn away but could not, greif-stricken she was to cause so much pain on theis beautiful land.

Paris could feel the anger, rage and sorrow reach his heart within seconds. The face of Achilles brought tears to his eyes as he remembered Hector's broken and bruised body being dragged away by this filthy Greek.
Grabbing an arrow from the pack behind his back, he strung it onto his bow and shot with perfect aim at Achilles' tendon near his ankle.
Paris tensed and then rushed down the marble steps toward his sister who was with Achilles.

Helen watched in shock as Paris hit Achilles tendon and the way the strong man who had killed so many Trojans had finally fallen. As she watched Paris's sister fall towards her beloved she grabbed onto Paris' hand and pulled him back.

"NEVER!" Paris shouted in Helen's face. His eyes glimmering with hatred, he pulled away angrily from her, "He has deceived her into loving him with his poisonous lies."
He then ran down the stairs, into the grassy square of the garden and pulled his sister away. His eyes met that of Achilles, but he showed no remorse.
Eventually, he ran back up the stairs, forcing his sister to follow him, and headed toward the secret tunnel. "HELEN! COME WITH US!"
