Peter nodded sadly. "Yes.." he whispered.

She held his hand tighter, then sighed. She let go, then looked at Felicity.

"You'll have to lead us," said Edmund, looking at him.

Felicity had her head down, trying to hold back tears.

Peter looked up at Edmund, looking miserable. "I can't."

"Aslan believed you could," said Edmund. "And so do I," he added.

Evelyn walked over to Felicity and hugged her, then looked up and said, "As do I."

"And so do I.." Felicity murmured through her tears.

Peter looked at each of them in turn, then at Oreius as he spoke.

"The Witch's army is nearing, sire. What are your orders?"

Peter looked at Oreius for a few more seconds, before looking down at the map on the table in front of him.

A while later, Evelyn sheathed her right sword into her belt and began to gather her hair back into a tight braid. She then began to pull it into an updo - out of the face and, if necessary, easy to hide under a helmet. Which she wouldn't have to do, if <i>Peter</i> didn't catch her in time to go to the battle.

Felicity stared at her reflection in her sword blade, and sighed quietly. Her hair was now cut very short, though still long enough to hide her face if she kept her head down. I'm so dead if I'm caught.. she thought bitterly, sheathing her sword with a sharp rasp, and she then proceeded to the tunic and pants that had been found for her, though she had to roll the sleeves of the tunic and cuffs of the pants. That done, she then strapped on her quiver and tested the string on her bow.

Evelyn sighed. She felt her hair securely behind her in a messy-but-nice-graceful-and-cool-looking updo. She had changed into a more comfortable outfit - pants and a more-sturdy-than-usual tunic. She felt her short strands falling out of her updo again, and blew one out of her eyes. <i>These might present a problem...</i> she thought to herself. She moved down to where the army was marshaling. She saw Edmund, who looked at her as if to say, <i>You're coming?!</i>

She pressed her finger to her mouth, as if to say, <i>Be QUIET!</i>

Edmund nodded slowly.

Once finished tugging on her boots and making sure her disguise was complete, Felicity moved quickly towards the battlefield, making sure to avoid anyone she knew.

Evelyn kept her hand on her sword handle while she walked. She wished she had a horse, but she didn't have time to get one. She suddenly spotted someone. She went over and hissed, "Felicity!"

Felicity jumped about a foot in surprise, then winced. "Yes, Evey?" she whispered.

Evelyn smiled and said, "How do I look?"

"Not like yourself." Felicity said truthfully.

Evelyn grinned. "Good. Careful out there. And watch my back, 'kay?" she said.

Felicity nodded slightly. "Will do."

Evelyn nodded, smiled, and walked off. She soon found herself atop a cliff, behind Edmund and Mr. Beaver, overlooking the battle below. She knew that since Edmund had sworn to secrecy - and, for heaven's sake, already knew she was there - she had nothing to fear. She kept fingering her sword handles.
