Eli rushed into her math class just in time to hear the teacher say, "Pop quiz!" She had gotten lost trying to find her class. Trying to appear invisible, she sat down at the back of her class and waited apprehensively for her test.

Eli was feeling rather depressed while she handed her quiz in; she hadn't learned much of what was on it in her old school. Still, she was cheered up slightly by the fact that she didn't seem to be the only one having trouble with it.

Elenya had snuck into a back desk in a rush of people, then proceeded to struggle all the way through her math quiz. Math was definitly not her strong subject. She turned it in, then went back to her desk and started picking up her books.

Luth muttered something about pop quizzes needing to be illegal before handing in her copy. She knew for a fact she had hopelessly mangled the trig questions, and refused to even think of the others. Luth was now determined to track down Elegost or Caunion for help this term, as they both had breezed through it.
The bell rang through the halls and the room jumped into a flurry of activity as the girls and guys gathered their books and left for their next classes. Luth had memorized today's schedule over breakfast; period two was Medieval Literature. Sounds like fun!

Megan squeezed through the crowded hallways on her way to her next class. She wasn'tsure how she had done on the pop quiz, but she knew it hadn't been good.

Eli kept an eye on a girl from her math class and followed her inconspicously through the corridors. Chances were she would end up somewhere near her next class if she followed someone else; her sense of direction was notoriously awful.

Luthien found herself a spot near the windows, and looked around the classroom. To her dismay there were very few people she hung out with. It was a big school with lots of options, but she had hoped at least one of her good friends had chosen to take Med. Lit. after her long campaign last year to get the class introduced to the curriculum. But at the last moment, Melda popped in and Luth waved her over with a grin. As the teacher introduced herself, Luth leaned towards her and whispered, "I thought I'd be all by myself wading through Old English assignments!" Melda giggled, "Not if I can help it!"
