Bill shot an angry glance toward Gibbs when he wasn't looking. His ankle was throbbing with pain since the blood was now rushing to it as he was standing.....and trying to walk without putting much weight on it.
As he entered the thick jungle with his tall frame, he said, "Do you suppose there are more of those man-eating natives around?"

Lee saw Bill struggling and she walked...or more limped over. "Do you need help? I broke my ankle about 3 times in two places, so I can't feel it anymore...it's too out of place to hurt with the extra weight."

As they neared the volcano, Gibbs noticed something quite odd. Its rugged slopes were verdant with tropical trees and shrubbery. By all appearances, it looked dormant. And yet...
With every beat of the drum, the volcano rumbled subtly. Gibbs could almost believe it would erupt at the drums' command.

Through a vast daze of utter confusion Jack Sparrow's eyes squinted open, "Oio..." he said immediately feeling the intense throbbing pain in the back of his skull.

"You're awake," Robert commented dully.

Up the slope of the volcano they went, picking their way among the jutting rocks and scraggy vegetation. They followed the drums until at last they came upon a strange circle of boulders, almost like stone monoliths.
Gibbs darted behind a small bush and peered through. It seemed as if the entire island had congregated here, facing towards the center of the circle. He couldn't see a bloody thing past all the tall natives blocking his way.

Bill froze, still holding Lee tightly, as he stared at the hundreds of natives in front of them. "Gibbs.....let's get out of here. This was a bad idea," he whispered still standing in plain sight for all the natives to see.

Gibbs held up a hand to stall their protests. The natives didn't seem intent on turning around anytime soon, so enraptured were they in whatever they were staring at.
Speaking of which, whatever were they staring at?
He motioned for Lee and Bootstrap to wait. He stealthily crept forward, edging around, trying to get a closer look. As he topped a small rise on the edge of a steep dried-out gully, he finally received a better vantage point.
What he saw made his jaw drop open in shock.
