Sylan sat dwon suddenly in a chair against the wall burrieing his face in his hands.

Ann walked over to Sylan. " honey are you alright?" she asked.

Lanie's surgrey had only taken 45 minuets. the nurse walked back into the room where Lanie had been before the surgry expecting to find Sylan. but he wasnt there.
another nurse came in and informed her that Sylan's other sister had been brought into the hospital and she told her what room he was in.
the nurse nodded and headed that way.
when she got there she saw Sylan and sighed. " sir, Lanie is out of surgry and all is well." she said as she kenlt beside him.

David and Ann both looked at the nurse then at Sylan. " why is Lanie here?" they both asked at the same time.

Dr. morgan checked Corison over frowning as he listened to her breathing. "She's got alot of fluid in her lungs, and a pretty high fever. I'm going to give her something for both and I'm going to keep her here for a few days." He looked over at David hearing the young mans question."She'll be just fine... it's not the first time I've seen her like this."

Corison's eyes fluttered open. "David ..." She wispered. Dr. Morgan looked at Corison then back at David. "Are you David?" He asked.

Corison fought for contiousness gripping his hand weakly. "David... " She began coughing again.

Sylan stepped out into the hallway. He nodded at the nurse and headed back to Lanie's room.

Lanie was awake and looking at the celing bored. she wanted to get out of here. she was sorry for all she did. but she still didnt want to come home. she wasnt ready yet.

Tears came to David's eyes. he hated seeing Corison like this. he layed his hand on her cheek. " shh, i'm here." he said as a tear sliped down his face.
David's mom sat in a chair and watched the two young ones.

A nurse started an IV with some medicine in it, and after a few moments Corison relaxed and stopped fighting to stay awake.

Dr. Morgan watched David and said, "It's best if she sleeps... Don't worry she will be just fine.

Sylan stepped into Lanie's room. He tried to smile. "How you feeling?" He asked.

" i'm fine. i don't want to be here, but i'm fine." she tried to sit up but found it painful. she sighed. she studied Sylan's face for a moment. " why are you looking so glum?" she asked. " you look like someone just died." she smirked.

David nodded and let go of her hand once she fell asleep.
he walked over to his mother and sat down. he looked at the ground feeling like he couldnt do anything to help corison. in a sense he really couldnt.
David mom reached over and rubbed his back trying to be comforting.
