Calista was barely aware of what was going on around her. Her body felt so drained that she could barely keep her eyes open. "Feel...so...tired...." she mumbled as her blue eyes rolled and her lashes fluttered and drooped as her breathing started to become shallow.

Walking aimlessly along an old path, Darius had no idea where he was going or what he was going to do.

Gareth cursed and picked the woman up. "We need to get her warm." He said and hurried Calista to her room, Rosalina following.

Calista sighed softly as he carried her to her room and her shivering subsided only to replaced by a brief rigidity in her muscles. Sinking against the mage a few minutes later, a soft groan escaped from her lips as her blue eyes dilated and rolled back before her lashes fluttered close as she passed out in Gareth's arms, a bluish tint starting to appear in her skin.

Finding himself in the village, Darius aimlessly wandered the streets.

Calista remained limp as Gareth laid on the bed before starting a fire. Her was breathing shallow, her skin still cold and her pulse was slow and weak.

Seeing a tavern in the distance, Darius made his way the building, figuring to get a drink to help ease his misery.

Calista just lay motionlessly on the bed, her shallow breathing the only sign that she still lived.

Making his way into the tavern, Darius ordered himself a strong ale as he took a seat, a grim expression on his face that warned most of the other patrons to stay away from him.

Once he finished his second drink, Darius signaled for a third, not caring if he became intoxicated or drowned himself in his sorrows.

Calista still remained unresponsive, her hands limp in Gareth's and Rosalina's. Yet her skin slowly started to warm as heat from the fire, the cloth and blanket began to seep into her body.

"Moore..." Darius bellowed after he finished his sixth mug of ale as she slammed the vessel hard on the table.
"Sir, I think you've had enough," the tavern owner stated in a placating manner.
"Don't...tel me whaat to do..." Darius slurred out, going red in the face.

Calista still remained unconscious on the bed and her pulse was still weak but her breathing had improved slightly.

"Sir, you are going to have to leave," the owner remarked calmly.
"Leeave? Maake me!" Darius slurred as he stumbled to his feet. "Yoou wanna fight? I'll giiive yooou oone!" he yelled as he knocked the mug off the table, his breath reeking with ale.
