Jack's right shoulder took the bullet that had been fired from Chris' pistol. He stumbled backwards into a large bush like plant and caved in his shoulders from the pain. His face cringed again and he stared up with angry eyes at Chris.

Devina snapped out her own pistol and fired it twice with a crack. One bullet hit Jack in the neck, emerging straight out the other side, the other burried itsself into Mineras shoulder. She pouted angrily "I will not be spoken to like that!"

As the bullet fires, she drops to the ground, and the bullet whizzes over her shoulder, taking a chunk of flesh with it. A snarl of pain and rage is heard, but it is subdued quickly with a venomous smile as Minara stands up again. "Look, I'm not the one your quarrel is with.... Besides, we both want treasure?.... Why fight over it?...."

Jack gagged, clutched his neck and stumbled back even more into the bushes. This was the forth time he had gotten shot in less than five minutes, and it was really starting to hurt. His eyes grew big as the open wound pumped out blood in the same time of his pumping heart.

Minara gives Devina a skeptical look. "We ain't that close...." She then looks back at Chris. "Actually, there's more treasure here than my three ships can hold..... I really don't mind sharing it.... I'd have to, since there's so much..." Minara shrugs amiably at them, her eyes locking onto Chris's....
