The particular steep gully their hill bordered cut straight through the congregation of natives, deepening and forming a wide depression at least twenty feet deep. And leaning quite dejectedly against the depression's sheer sides like a beached whale...
"It's the Pearl," Gibbs breathed.

Bill arrived by Gibbs' side and stood in awe of this strange site. His brown eyes were fixed on the beloved Pearl that was on it's side. "What do you suppose they'll do with it?" Bill asked silently.

Gibbs's eyes narrowed as his gaze swept up and down the steep gully. Interestingly enough, it seemed to cut all the way to the beach and beyond that, the open ocean. When high tide arrived...
His groan stretched even louder as he turned back to the Pearl. "Mayhap they think it's some god," he said with a carefree shrug. "No worries. Run in. Grab the Pearl. Sail her out."

Bill's eyes glanced to Gibbs and then back to the Pearl, " A god, eh? Interestin'... but how do you know that we can board the ship so easily? Don't you think there'll be natives around it at all times?" Bill raised an eyebrow.

Jack rose to his feet, not gracefully mind you, but the Captain did make it deceant.
He fixed his lop-sided hat and made a face. Standing up just made his headache worse, but it also hurt while laying down as well, so it didn't really matter...
"Get some sweets? Do sweets coincide with rum?..." he said starting to totter off away somewhere.
