April turned her neck slightly, trying to look at Christopher. "Chris? You okay, man? What's...what's happening?" She asked him, knowing very well that he didn't know either.

Strangely enough, Christopher was thinking along those exact lines. He wanted to kick something. He wanted to bang his head on the brick wall behind him. Forget being optimistic. Being optimistic was overrated. He plastered on a grin and flashed April a let's-discuss-the-weather look. "Yeah, I'm okay. Listen - next time you decide to chain me to a wall fifty feet above doom and my aunt knows what else, don't forget to bring some cookies, okay? Only not the hard kind. I cracked my teeth on the hard kind last year. I like the soft kind. Oh, and don't forget the chocolate chips."

A short silence.

"Are you hungry?"

April rolled her eyes and said in frustration, "Christopher, if I wasn't chained here, I would kick you where the sun don't shine so hard, that you wouldn't remember what cookies were." She told him and then, sighing, she looked down at the sea and, in the distance, she saw something. Something coming towards them.

A ship.

But not just any ship.

A Viking ship.

"This is ridiculous!" shouted Jamie, voice barely below a shriek. There was sand in her clothes, and it was itching horribly. Not to mention her pain threshold which, despite her being somewhat athletic, was extremely low. Below sea level. The comparison would have made her laugh some other time, when she didn't hurt all over and want to have a long shower. She focused an intense glare on the one object she could see, which appeared to be a ship.

She resisted the urge to swear profusely. What was this? Some sort of stupid prank? Couldn't a girl go out for a walk in the morning?

Whoa. No way. Christopher closed his eyes, counted to ten. He opened his eyes. It was still there. He closed his eyes once more and tried again. He did this for another thirty seconds, before it registered that the Viking ship was coming towards them. Salvation? Probably not. Chocolate chip cookies? Maybe.

"Hey look, guys. It's a ship," he remarked, grinning like an idiot. Awesome hallucination. Or maybe he was dreaming. Nah, if he was dreaming, he'd already be dead. Bullet shot through the head, put him out of his misery. It didn't hurt as much as hanging from his wrists anyway. It reminded him of being nailed to a crucifix. Maybe he was the new Jesus.

If so, this was one heck of a hangover.

Last thing Dvid knew there was a huge wolf and ate everybody by the lake-including him. Now he wakes up to sharp pain in his wrists.
"Hey look, guys. It's a ship," he heard someone say. Chris?
David opened his eyes to see a vast stretch of water before him, and what looked like a viking ship coming towards them. Wait. Who else was there? David tried to turn his neck to see, but that was nearly impossible. What ever was going on, he hoped it would be over quickly...

((It's okay! I've had the same problem, Rain! I missed the ball too! ))

April cursed slightly, biting her tounge and looking around. She saw everyone hanging there, all as bloodly or muddy or as ****ed as she was, everyone except for one.

Senna.

But, April knew she couldn't linger on this thought for long, because now there was a ship coming towards them. What is a ship doing in the middle of nowhere? And why was it in Vikings fashion? She couldn't answer these questions, but she hoped time would, because her arms and wrists had now become numb with pain, and it wasn't a great feeling.

She looked around and looking down, she saw what the ship was going towards;

A small dock.

It was made of rough wood, with seaweed coming up the sides, and it was just sitting there, at the base of the very long drop at the end of the wall. The only problem was that there was no path towards or leading away from the dock...it was surrounded by water, except for one side, which was against the wall that they were hanging against. It didn't add up. Well, none of this. She thoughts sourly.
