James gave Sirius a confused look, not quite following him.

"All right, I suppose," Lupin said softly. "Didn't do too much besides paying James and Sirius a visit or two."

I was cured all right.

Lily nodded. She knew exactly who those 'several people' were. Potter and his cronies. She hated them. They bullied and they tormented, for no reason other than their own entertainment. And their main target was the boy sitting right next to her.
"Yes," Lily sighed, "I hope Potter and his group may have matured a bit this year, but I seriously doubt it. But maybe this year will be ok. I mean, even with them..."

"Yes, probably", Severus answered after a time looking at the floor again, his voice sounded really unsure. He didn't believe that Potter or any of his friends have changed or would leave him alone once they have seen him. "I'm glad to see you again after this long time", he said, looking at Lily again, smiling a bit.

Sirius rolled his eyes but said no more. If his friend wanted to play dumb, he didn't mind. He, himself, would probably do the same thing. But then again, he didn't have these things on his mind as he was usually the one who was teasing his friends about girls.

Lily beamed back at him. "Me too. I've really missed you," she grinned. "I must say, you have grown an incredible amount this year." She chuckled slightly. His black hair was slightly longer than before, his arms and legs more gangly. It seemed now, that they had been together always and never apart, that the summer holidays had never happened. She was just happy that the awkwardness between them had faded.

Selena smiled. "Its nice you have friends. I mean, the Slytherin's, they just say I am a disgrace to my house. And cause I am in Slytherin, every else just is mean to me. Execpt you, Its nice to talk to some one who won't jugde me."

((This is why I like Selena pairing with Lupin. They are both alone with there problems.))

Severus now grinned at Lily, meaning it so. Not even the thought of James Potter and his gang could destroy this calmness and unknown happyness he was feeling right now. It seemed like the almost broken friendship between Lily and him was fixed again, he had a feeling that nothing that could risk this friendship to break had ever happened between them, that nothing had changed.

Cat sat there, quiet for once now that every was listning to Lupin and Selena.
"I think I'm going to get changed."she announced, standing up suddenly.
She wondered if Lily was finished with Severus yet.

Sirius looked up at Cat. "Yeah, we're almost there aren't we?" He cast a look outside where the countours of the mountains were just visible in the twilight and after a few moments the lights went on. He looked forward to the feast in the Great Hall after the long trip by train.

Lily looked at Severus a moment longer and then glanced down at her watch. They would be arriving soon and she wasn't in her robes yet. "I'm going to go and find Cat and change into my robes... But I'll see you at school! Bye, Sev. I've missed you!" With that she left the compartment to go and look for Cat. She found her still in the compartment with Potter. She scowled at her through the glass and slid open the door.

"Hello, Lily," said James, giving her his best smile, "How's your summer been?"

Cat kneaded her forehead, and sank back down into her chair, shooting James a dirty look.
She had a feeling she knew how this would turn out.

Lily looked up and scowled again.
"Why is that any of your business, Potter?" she asked. How could he sit there and act kind, like he hadn't been torturing her best friend since the first year? He thought he was better than everyone else and people like that earned no respect from Lily.

Sirius frowned. Someone here had a bad day: Lily seemed to spit fire like a dragon. Suddenly a very vivid image crossed his mind how Lily roasted James on a fire and he grinned. "Hey there Evans. Cheer up.. the year has only just begun"

Lily half smiled. She wasn't being particularly nice. She cleared her throat, and looked back at Potter, her fakest of fake smiles on her face. "My summer was wonderful. What about yours?" She asked, her tone light and breezy, but covered in sarcasm.
