Emma turned her head round when the lift door opened, her eyes hardened when she noticed a very familiar face.
"Magneto!" she said sharply "Why am I not surprised at all by your appearance?"

Emma stood in front of the three youngsters and her body began to crystalise and harden into her diamond form. Ms Marvel took a defensive position next to her.
"If you're going to call for help, I suggest you do it quickly" she thought, hoping Emma would pick it up telepathically.

Emma heard her voice and replied calmy
"Already done Carol"

"Be on your guard" Emma spoke aloud to the kids behind her.

Magneto smiled and said, "Not as surprised as to see you, Ms. Frost. To consider Charles would send such a beauty to confront us...how is he doing, by the way?"

Ka'l merely glared at the other female as he waited for Magneto to finish his pleasantries, breathing harshly through his gas mask.

Emma squinted her eyes at Magneto,
"Where Charles is, is none of your business Eric" she replied cooly, her eyes never giving away the truth. Charles was recuperating with Moira McTaggart "I don't need his authority to come here regardless" she sniped at him "I am the Co-Headmistress after all" she finished with a cool smile.

Magneto sighed and answered, "Shame. I miss Charles very much. He was a friend of mine, did you know that? A very old and dear friend. Unreasonable, though. Too compassionate. That was his main flaw. If you do see him, Miss Frost, could you kindly send him my sentiments. I'm sure he would appreciate it."

Meanwhile Ka'l patched himself into the different radio frequencies. He knew that the two squads had eliminated the targets and were making their way up. He also knew that the Green Goblin and the Rhino had efficiently created a gridlock surrounding the tower, blocking any and all police units from entering near the Stark Tower. Satisfied with the process they've made, Ka'l withdrew himself from his concentrations on the radio frequencies and gazed back at the opposing team.

Emma rolled her eyes "Sadly, I'm sure Xavier would actually appreciate your sentiments Erik" she smiled at him "But I'm not Xavier, never forget that."

Ms Marvel was standing watching the confrontation, containing her anxiety barely.
"Will you please quit with the pleasantries Emma" she spoke inside her mind, waiting for Emma to pick up on it.

"What would you prefer Carol. An all out attack with nervous kids behind us" Emma replied back telepathically, agitated with Ms Marvels intent to fight.

Magneto chuckled. "I know you aren't Charles, my dear," he smiled politely back. "In fact, I think you are far different from him. Maybe more insightful than he was. It wouldn't be the first time we've been together. Do you remember the days in the Hellfire Club? You've changed so much since then."

(At least, I think Emma and Magneto were together in the Hellfire Club..)
