Jena practiced her light saber dueling. Aayla was gone for the day and she had encouraged Jena to practice. She slowly used the force to gracefully guide her saber around.

"Your very good you know."

Jena was startled she dropped her light saber suddenly. Thankfully it was activated then. She turned towards the voice. It was a young man he had soft brown eyes and dark brownish hair.

"Sorry if I startled you." He said blushing.

"Oh, it's okay." Jena said stuterring.

"Okay." He smiled and put out his hand. "My name is Kenneth Dagre. And you are?"

"Jena Keyslie." She said with a smile trying to ignore his hand. "Jedi Knight in training."

"Padwan?" Kenneth asked.

"Yess actually how did you know?" She asked.

"I am going to be in the air force for the New Republic. I need to know things like that." Kenneth said.

"I suppose." Jena said. Then she heard a beeping sound coming from her comlink.

"Yes?....What?... I'll be right there." She looked over at him. "I got to go." She hurried off leaving Kenneth still looking in the direction she left.

Obi-Wan didn't know what possesed him at that moment but it spilled out. "Reia you don't know. If you died I couldn't live. I'm feeling something I shouldn't but I can't help it."

Reia stared back into his eyes. Could he really be saying this? She had waited so long....before she knew it, she had kissed him. She pulled away quickly when she realized what she had done. "Oh, my gosh..." she whispered, thinking of the magnitude of the situation.

Obi-Wan sat there; stunned. She kissed him? She KISSED HIM!!! He felt himself full of energy but he found himself unable to move. "Umm..."

"I'm sorry," she muttered. She tried to get up, but remembered her ankle, which burned with pain when she put weight on it. "Ow..." she said, sitting back down and massaged it. "I'm sorry," she said again, not wanting to look at him.

She turned around to see Kenneth there smirking at her.

"Your still here?" She asked.

"Actually I took care of busisness and came back." He said.

'Why is he looking at me that way.' "Oh." Jena said.

He looked at her nervously. "Would you like to go to dinner as friends I mean."

She barely knew him. 'Dinner?' It was against the Jedi code to love but this might be just for fun. She looked about to make sure no one was there. "Sure."

Jena sighed after the night with Kenneth she felt so mixed up inside. 'Did I disobey the Jedi code?' She hoped not. But inside she loved Kenneth much. Some reason she felt as if she had known him forever. Jena entered the temple and walked with no pride but confusion. This wasn't something she should have done it was forbidden. She wasn't the cheery self everyone usually saw.
