Hydracyruis swam just in time to see an aquatic human being slashed by a human warrior whose head was enclosed in a bubble. Hydracyruis drew his sword and pierced the human's chest. He looked around. Somehow humans had breached his city. Icetiuis had just finished devouring a human and proceed to bite another one.

Arella sped through the water, the muscles in her arms stood out sharply as she urged herself on.
A youngling swam behind her, struggling to keep up.
".. But, what about the dragons!?!?" it called, voice full of fear.
"It will not come to war.. do not worry.." replied Arella, but deep down, she knew there was nothing she could do.
'Just a merperson' she thought.
A long elven sword hung by her side, Arella gripped it. It would be needed, that was for sure.
Suddenly, a large roar was let out, and Arella dropped her thoughts and turned her head.
The youngling screeched in fear, then swam deep downwards, in a vertical dive.
"Articus!" cried Arella. She swore, then rose to the surfice (Sp?) to see what was going on.

Arella let out a cry as a sharp arrow pierced the surfice of the water, just beside her.
A young earth human stood by the water surfice, firing down into the luxurious water, piercing the hearts of Arella's friends.
The human let out a scream as Arella sank her sharp fangs into his neck.
He dropped the bow, then fell to the ground lifeless.
Arella smiled, then dived deep down to her city, shades of blood hung in the water, and Arella became worried.
The earth people had been their friends, now that friendship was lost, turned to war.
Arella plunged her claws into another human, protected by some sort of spell, letting them breathe in the water.
She slashed one of the bubbles, and the human began to drown.
It screamed and the water flooded into its mouth.
Arella finsished him off with a quick slash, then swam downwards.

Arella lunged at a human, her sharp fangs piercing a vital artery in the mans neck.
Blood spurted visciously from the wound, and the human cried out.
Arella whipped her tail across his face, then turned to another warrior.
Her sharp claws, cutting a deep wound in the soliders chest.
"Arella!!" a small youngling sped towards the skillfull warrior. "Arella, the strange people have breached the walls!!"

Arella swore, she knew they could not hold much longer, but she couldnt abandon hope, not yet, there still was a chance.

"Find cover! The nearest cave, hide!!" she cried. The youngling flinched.
"What about you!" it cried.
Arella swallowed then stared towards the magical city, the voices of trapped mermaids, screaming, arrows and spears raining down on them.

Arella clenched her fists. "I will return to the city..."
"but you cant... you'll be killed!" the youngling interupted.
"Its a risk i must take, those people must be resuced! "
Arella stared at the youngling, she clenched its head in her hands.
"I'll be alright... dont worry!" she whispered.

Hydracyruis grabbed the neck of a human and slowly froze him to death. He pointed his sword at another human and fired a jet of icy water that knocked the wind out of him. Two humans tried to attack Hydracyruis but he slashed at them both, leaving open cuts on their chests. Icetiuis, meanwhile, terrified a good number of the humans and destroyed the foolish and brave that remained. This allowed Hydracyruis to survey the damage that the humans wrecked on the aquatic humans. He found his father in their manison, with a spear in his torso. "No...." Hydracyruis said, dropping down to his knees. He brought his father's head close to his chest and yelled, "No!!!!"

Avia ducked as an arrow skimmed past her head. She immediatly shifted into a swallow, the divebombed the earth creatures, pecking at thier eyes and other vulnerable areas.

Arella swam powerfully towards her city, cutting down foolish earth creatures with strong swipes of her claws.
Clouds of blood swirled around her as she brought down yet more humans.
Arella cried out as a youngling was cut to the ground, anger flared up all around her and she charged the attacker, violently raking her claws across his face.

The city was nearing now, Arella reached the flaming walls, and dived down underground, a secret passage to the city.
There was not much time.

o_O How can there be flaming walls underwater, Nienna Undome?

Tydael folded his wings and dropped as a blast of fire from one of the dragons scorched the air where he had been. He retaliated with a blast of electricity and a vicious push with air, the dagon's scales crackling as blue lighting danced over them. He strained for altitude again, flitting around the sky to dodge the bursts of fire and earth that were coming at him. He prepared to send off another burst of electricity, but managed to halt in time as he saw a swallow tearing at the eyes of the creature he had been going to electrocute. He glared and shifted to another target, knowing this fight couldn't go on forever.

(You got to love water resistant flames!. Oh, and I am going to be away for a while because I have to study for finals, and that will take up quite a bit of time. Avia screeched as fire singer her left wing. "Okay, enough fooling around." She grumbled. She shifted to a dragon; she always found it easier to work her magic from that shape. She felt the charge in the clouds over head, and gathered them around her. Whe she had a suffisient amount, she let it loose, and three lightning bolts struck down a trio of earth soldiers.
