"Shoot." Emma cried as she got Icefire's alert. Magneto nodded to her and Emma ran out and jumped in her Toyota Corolla. She sped down the streets until she reached a safe place to hide her car. Emma jumped out and sprinted toward Icefire. She saw another mutant fighting him.
As she took another pace she turned into her mutant form, Nightmare. Her eyes shown silver and her skin pale.
"Nice." Emma smiled at Icefire and began to build her power.

Icefire saw the brute coming and smiled. Even for his thin size, he was quite strong with his ice form doubling his strength. He waited until the brute was very close and then jumped over him again. He punched the skull of his face with his ice hard fist and brought his arm around his thick neck, slowly squeezing the air and the heat away from him. Meanwhile, he melted the ice over his right hand and turned into a flaming one to burn the skin covering his spinal cord. Years of studying anatomy had aided Icefire in battles like these. While every brute knew that the heart, brains, and torso were the most valuable parts in the human body, Icefire knew the other organs and tissues that could severely damage and disable a fighter. Tendons, nerves, blood vessels, arteries, and ligaments are needed to operate a strong fighter and if they were destroyed, then the fighter would be destroyed as well.

Lucifuge landed face first in the rubble with a snarl. He caught his breath and shook the punches off. His was getting angry and when the giant got mad he put more effort in. He rose to his feet and picked up a large iron support beam from a building he smashed into. It was hard and almost as tall as him. It was so light in his hands but a direct hit would crush bones. He turned to look at the mutant with a growl and slowly walked toward him.
"Why don't you fight like a man?!"
When he felt he was close enough he swung his iron bat smashing it into the mutant's chest.

"So much for our date" Tempest rolled her eyes at her husband.
"Looks like we're back to work"

Havok took his other hand and brused away some hair that had falled over Tempest's face.
"You know what they say..no rest for the wicked"

Tempest smirked back at him.
"So. You think we should maybe go help him out?"

Havok shook his head.
"Strongest will survive. Let's just stand back and enjoy the show"
He then walked round behind Tempest and slipped his hands around her waist as they watched the ongoing battle between Lucifuge and the unknown Mutant.

Icefire winced as the iron bat chipped a great deal of ice from his chest. But even now, the ice began to reform though the pain was almost intolerable. "If I drop my mind while fighting," Icefire said as he began to melt the iron bar. "Then I'm not fighting like a man. I'm fighting like an animal. Plus, I am not a man. I'm a homo superior..." He created two blades from his hands: one made of ice and the other of fire. He held them in defensive position and while waiting for the brute to attack, formed a stragety. He would try to hamstring him if possible. But if not he could try to freeze the spinal cord.

Lucifuge dropped the iron bar and clenched his fists. This was indeed a worthy challenge, it was rare he get these. He let the corner of his mouth contort into a smile. He bent down, picking up a huge block of concrete and began breaking peices off throwing them like firing fist size bullets at the mutant as he slowly walked forward.

Using various aerobic movements, Icefire managed to dodge most of the bullets. One of them, however, smashed into his leg. He clenched his teeth as the pain blared inside his body. He began to reform that as well. He sought out the brute's twelve cranial nerves and began freezing them. If those froze and died, the brute was utterly destroyed. Still, Icefire couldn't keep this fight up. He needed backup badly. He wondered if Magneto was coming or not. He put out the firestorms as he no longer needed them and felt the surge of thermal energy as they converted into chemical energy. The brute was approaching ever so slowly. He clenched his blades tightly.

When he was close enough he threw the rest of the block at his head and ran after it, aiming a fist into the mutants head.

Back in Sinisters chamber, Tania paced backwards and forwards like a caged animal.

" I just need you to garner me information about the Human-Mutant resistance. You can come and go as you please, I'll even unlock the inhibitor collar you wear around your neck as a token of my gratitude"

Tania stood firm.
"Why? Why do you need me to do it. Why not one of your Prelate lackeys?"

"Very good question my dear. Simple fact is, I trust them very little. They are traitorous by nature and I need someone I can bargain with. You fit the bill, I need someone that can glean information. At least..think it over before refusing."

High on a rooftop several blocks away from the mutant fight, Dani stood facing the wind. She touched her earpiece, having just received orders from Magneto. "Icefire, this is Esperanza." Her cool voice transmitted clearly. "I can get you out of there - but it involves taking you apart and putting you back together. Think you can handle it?"

Icefire ducked as the block soared over his head and held the fist that was going for his head. He took away the thermal energy that he knew was swelling in the brute and watched as his fist turned bluish black from the frost bite. "No, I don't think I would like to join you," Icefire calmly said as he lowered the brute's body temperature with a single thought. "Magneto allows me to pursue my mind and powers as freely as I wish. I doubt your master will offer me the same luxury." He saw the brute's free hand and lit on fire. He heard the voice from his earpiece and heard what she was trying to do. "Could you at least tell me what you are going to do to me?" he asked.

Dani smiled, knowing that the procedure was probably a bit unnerving for anyone who wasn't her. "I'm going to disassemble your body into its molecular state, transport them to my location, and rematerialize it. Sort of a 'beam me up, Scotty', if you will."

"Ok, just give me a minute. And make sure all of body parts are intact. I'm not in the mood to find out that my stomach or arm is a hundred miles from me," Icefire said. Turning his attention to the brute, he said, "Farewell." He encased his limbs in five inches of solid ice and said to Dani, "Ok, anytime now...Wait! Can't you just move my entire body to you. It will save us a lot of trouble"
