Devina watched silently, drifting towards an open window. She perched on the sill, the gauzy curtains fluttering around her.
She had a perfect view of the port, and her emerald eyes took everything in, even, a way down at her ship the 'Venegance', the way there were suddenly more men on deck, and gently getting ready to pull the sails in.

marigold excused herself and walked over to the window.

"Hello, Devina. How long do you fancy ignoring me?"

((Hey Rhav, did Devina hear Elizabeths comment, she is Margarets sister, and Devina never knew. Wouldn't she be shocked, or something? Just wondering.))

Devina barely glanced up"Just playing the part Goldilocks." she grinned, flashin pearly white teeth at her best friend. She adjusted her dress and nodded towards the twinkling lights of the tavern down below, enjoying the warm breeze on her delicate features. Then grin disapeared, leaving way to a definete look of mischieve. "Lets go."she murmered softly.

Marigold felt red hot anger bubbling up. Why wasn't she angry? She was tired of being the little girl. The little girl who was unimportant. The little girl that was ignored.
"Look, Devina. I wish you would just notice me for once! I'm not some sort of little girl lost, or that needs to be taken home because it's getting late. I am 15!"
This sudden burst of anger came as a shock to herself. She had been wanting to let it out for so long. Thanks to her little outburst though, the crowd was now staring at them.

Margaret looked at Devina. "Ok." she turned back to her sister and Father. "I'll be back, then we could talk. Ok, but for now, I have to go with my Captain." she turned and was about to walk away when she felt a and on her wrist.

"I'm taking my daughter home." Devina murmerd, dropping Margrets wrist. She bowed her head slightly at hte govonour, and gently pulled Marigold out before she could do any more harm. As soon as they were out of the house, she burst into laughter, ruffling her bet friends hair. "Did you see their faces?" she smoothed out her 'daughters' hair again, grinning.
"And now for a real drink, and a slap up meal down at the old tavern!"
She bent her body slightly, and distangled a worn leather bag from the bushes, containing her favorite attire-tight black leggings, a white shirt, and a black corset.
