Amaris stood up, startled at being found on the roof of Jordan College by two strangers. Azalea bared her teeth and snarled at them. "Who are you and what do you want?" Amaris asked, sounding as brutal as she could.

Amber stared down at the body, she knelt beside it and put a hand to its neck. Dead. Amber smiled, then jumped to her feet.
"Hello?" she whispered into the com-link around her neck.
"Amber?" replied a voice.
"He is dead." she said softly.
"Good work. I am pleased, come back to my office and i will arrange your payment."

Hailey was starting to shiver when she noticed a light from the building's roof to her right.
"Do you think thats Lyra?" Hailey asked her daemon.
"I think so." came the reply.
"H... hello." she stuttered. "are you Lyra?"

Amber dashed thru the tree's and bushes, getting as far away from the ofice she had visited as possible. She knew it was vital to get far away after a murder, but not leave any trace of herself

Almost instantly, Ishion unsheathed his sword, Anamelia took out her daggers, and their daemons hissed at the daemons. There was a moment of silence and then, Ishion said, "I am Ishion and this is my partner, Anamelia. We are of the Death Bringers and had stumbled into this world in order to escape some....people."

(sorry! i've been out all day... i saw my new baby cousin  )
(btw, who is Amaris? Is he a new character in the Amber Spyglass or something... because i'm doing all i can to get a copy  )
Amaris and Lyra were staring at Will expectantly. It wasn't like he had a choice to go... he felt it was his duty to go. Not in a bad way... he just couldn't not go without feeling extremely guilty. His conscience would ever niggle at the back of his mind, until he finally resolved to join them... but he would be missing out on all the fun, too. So he had to go. He wanted to.
"Of course." He grinned. "You don't want me to miss out on all the fun, do you?"

Amaris had no weapons and neither did Lyra or Will for that matter. "Put down your weapons, we are unarmed and three of us are minors." She said to the new comers.
Lyra gestured for Hailey to come closer.

Lyra whipped round. "Amber! We've been stumbled upon by two armed people and Hailey has just found us. Where have you been? You were supposed to be here hours ago."

Will's fingers grabbed the hilt of his knife. He was confused... there were so many people he didn't know... and he didn't like the tone of Amber's voice. It sounded shaky, and guilty of something too.

"This is Amaris Cole, daughter to on of the most powerful women in the contry." Lyra said and gestured to Amaris - she liked boasting about her friend. "This is Amber Darklight who just appears when you need her. Hailey is from Florida and hates British weather and Will here, is one of the boys who works in the kitchens here at Jordan." She said and introduced everyone.
"Who are you two though, that's the question." Amaris said quietly, looking at the two older people who had turned up quite unexpectedly. _________________
