Minara bursts out laughing. "Actually, I work for all three.... Well, Idon't work for them at all.... My captains do... One for Spain, for France, and one for England..... No one knows about me, except the other pirate crews....." With a rakish grin she sweeps an imaginary hat off her head and bows with a flourish. "Yes, Minara the Unknown, at y'service...." She stands up again, still grinning. "Quite clever, don'tcha think?...."

Jack stumbled out of the bushes and accidentally bumped into the back of Chris. "Beg yer pardon!" He scooted himself away quite quickly and spit out some leaves that had somehow gotten in his mouth when he fell back into them.

Minara rolls her eyes. "They suspect nothing.... You see, each one of my three captains is completely loyal to their certain country.... I am never seen, nor heard of in their deals....." She grins. "Ahh, yes.... Cap'n Drake serves you English quite well, doesn't he?...." She smiles winningly at Devina, then looks at Jack. "Not so dead, after all?.... Even though you've been shot through the throat?...." Minara winks wickedly at him and smiles....

Jack cringed remebering what the bullet had felt like through his throat. He touched it again and felt a deep hole and still hot blood that was pouring from it. "Aye..." He smirked and laughed in a nervous sounding tone, "Would ye believe it?"

Devina cocked her pistol and aimed briefly. The gun spat a bullet at Jack, this time aiming for his heart. "Feel any better sweetheart?"

Jack's body jolted backwards from the impact of the bullet. She had a good aim and the bullet did make it's way towards Jack's chest. He crashed into Chris and gripped his chest. His mouth was agape and his eyes were opened wide in shock.

Jack backed away from Chris. His eyebrows frowned, "Someone please be kind enough and tell me why in this whole blasted world do I deserve such bloody punishment?!" He gripped his chest as he seemed to shrivel up in pain.

Minara throws back her head and laughs. Not at Jack, or at any of them, but at Devina's coin of phrase. She stops laughing and grins at Devina. "I like your tune..... Look, the only reason I came t'this island is 'causeit's full o' treasure...... But now that I'm here, I know that I can't possibly take all of it..... Y'see, that's why I was so annoyed at youse two earlier...." She smiles wickedly at the other two pirates. "I thought we might 'ave t'fight over it...." Minara shrugs expressively. "But seein' 'as 'ow there's so much, I couldn't take it all is I had three lifetimes an' over a fleet o' ships....."

Jack had just about enough of this. He glared at Devina and with his skilled hand twirled out his pistol from his belt and fired. The bullet went out to find it's way into Devina's shoulder. "How does it feel missy?" Jack smirked admist the pain he had throughout his body from the six bullets that were in it.
