"What do you think I should do professor?"she said and looked into his eyes.

"Follow your heart Elizabeth."he said and she felt that she was teary once again.

"And if you don't have one?"she said trying to hold back the tears.

"You do...You just haven't relised it yet."he said and once again a tear rolled down her cheeck.

Liz got up from the fountain,Mazon stood up right away as well.

"I have to be alone."she said.

"I understand that."

"I'll be back later."she said and headed to the forest with Mazon by her side.

Tania sat on the edge of her bed. Contemplating the last 24 hours of her life.
"What a mess" she sighed aloud.

She stood up and did a mental check of the things she had packed. It was a smallish rucksack, so she only needed to take the essentials.
She walked towards her room window and looked out over the Mansion gardens. It was so peaceful now.

Steeling herself to what she had to do. She made her way out of her room and down to Professor Xaviers study.

Eevee sighed deeply and strolled off, thanking Logan for informing her about Tania.
As she was wandering around the corrider she telekeneticly moved objects away from her, ignoring the crashes of some broken vases & frames. She crept into her bedroom and sat on top of her battered bed, wondering if she should leave.
An envelope layed on her desk, it seemed to be sealed tightly. As soon as Eevee noticed it, she telekeneticly lifted it up and opened it carefully. The letter glided into her hands and slowly read.

'Dear Evangeline,
I know that you have troubles with your powers-
I know how to help you.
Meet me on the school grounds as soon as you recieve this letter.
From,
C.K'

As soon as she finsihed reading, Eevee glanced out of the window but she saw no one. She had no idea who this 'C.K' was but she had to take a chance. She crept down the staircase and slid outside.

She sat down on a stone in the middle of the forest, Mazon sat down next to her as always.

All of the sudden she feelt that someone was watching her,she started to look around her but didn't see anyone... Who ever it was he or she was very close.

"Hello?"she said but got no answer.

Eevee heared vague whispers, and as she followed where they seemed to be coming from, she felt like she was swallowed into deeper darkness.
"Hello?", she cried out, "Are you the one who sent me the letter?".
"Yesss.....!, whispered a sinister voice.
"Are you 'C.K'?"
"I suppose so... Well, I used to be....", the eerie voice croaked.
Eevee once again wondered who C.K could be. Who had the initials 'C.K'? Then she reliased... Cletus Kasady...
"Dad?", she whimpered, "How did you find me?"
"Lets cut through the short stuff and discuss how to 'help you..."
"Erm.. how?", she asked then hesitated.
"CHAOS", he shrieked.

Tania made her way down to the Professors study.She knocked on the door.
"Come in Tania" came Xaviers voice from inside the room.

Tania opened the door and walked in, gently closing the door behind her.

"Please have a seat." he said kindly

Tania looked awkwardly at him.
"I should stand. I'm not here for long"

His eyes softened, Tania was always such a strong young woman. Confident and full of life. The Tania that stood before him seemed a shadow of herself.

"Please..." he insisted

Tania reluctantly walked over and sat on a large, comfortable chair.
Despite the comfort of the chair, Tania was restless.

"How are you feeling?" Xavier asked

"Not too great, sir. I'm so sorry for running out on you the way I did. I panicked." Tania explained.

"I've had more than my fair share of students do that to me. The situation was intense, claustrophobic. I understand you needed space." Xavier replied. his voice full of kindness and understanding.

This made what she had to say to him, all the more difficult.
"I'll get to the point, sir. I want...need some time off."

"Time off?" he asked her, slightly shocked.

"Yeah...Professor. Please understand. This is a big thing, I have to see my mother. Talk this through with her. She's kept this from me my whole life. I need to leave soon for Canada, need to see her." Tania sat upright as she explained herself to Professor Xavuer

Someone moved behind her, she got up right away and turned around but no one was there.

"Logan is it you?"she said but was sure it wasn't.

The bushes to her right sided moved and she turned to it right away but once again saw nothing.

Mazon roared and ran off in that direction.

"Mazon?!"Liz said but didn't move.

Someone put a hand on her shoulder and she screamed right away...

The sinister figure of Carnage stepped towards Eevee hastily and Eevee screamed with shock.
She tried to push him away with her telekenetic power but it was too late, Carnage's flexible arm was already tightened around her neck.
Eevee gasped for precious breath but her throat was clasped too tightly by the monstrous Carnage.
"Please...", she croaked.
"Please...", mimicked Carnage cruely.
"Let go...."
"Let go? Why should I?", he roared.
"I'm your daughter..."
"Evangeline... 'darling', I don't care about my family. I'm in charge, chaos can not takeover while caring about 'family'..."
Eevee coughed but a sigh of relief escaped her mouth when the grip of Carnage's arm loosened slightly.
"Let me tell you a little secret...", he whispered and muttered something into Eevee's ear.
Her eyes enlarged and she cried out, "LIAR!" but Carnage took no notice. Once again his grip became tighter....

"So have you made plans to leave. I can have Storm or Logan fly you there" Xavier offered.

"I'd rather take my motorcycle there. Give me a clear head. I appreciate the offer though. Under different circumstances, I'd have readily accepted." Tania replied with a soft smile.

"Only if you're sure" said Xavier, as he glided his wheelchair round to where Tania was sitting and placed a father like hand on hers.
"I haven't spoken to anyone else of your relationship with Sabretooth. It is for you to tell people, if you so desire. If you wish it to remain secret. Secret it shall remain."

"Thank you. I...I don't know how to thank you. For everything you've ever done for me." Tania said, her eyes welling up with tears.

"No thanks are every necessary. I have enjoyed having you here, you've been an extremely valuable asset to the teaching staff here. You've progressed so much since the rebellious young woman I met all those years ago. You have made me very proud." Xavier responded, squeezing her hand gently.

"I...I guess I should go get my things and head out. I don't want a big fuss. If anyone wants to know where I am...tell them my mother was sick and I went to visit her."

With that Tania stood up and made her way to the door of the study.
Turning one last time to look at the Professor.
"Hank and Logan know....but no-one else"

"Take care Tania. Be safe"

With a smile she walked out of the study and headed back to her room.

Carnage's hand seemed to transform into spikes and pierced the skin of Eevee. Eevee winced in pain as it dug deeper into her throat, as she watched the world fade around her she was dropped to the hard, bitter ground and abandoned.
She let out a quiet whimper as she lay on the ground, bleeding from her neck. Crimson leaked on to the grass and stained the floor, like spilt water.

Tania walked into her room and picked up her rucksack. She took one last look around her room.
Sighing heavily she turned back out and headed for the garage.

Looking over every wall, every door. The mansion was eerily quiet. Only the sound of a large Grandfather clock ticking disturbed the stillness.
She was going to miss this place, everyone in it.
Hank, Storm. The students....Liz.
'I hope you understand Liz' she thought to herself as she found herself at the doorway of the large garage.
Cars and bikes of all shapes, sizes and styles littered the area. Walking towards her spot. She stood next to her motorcycle, patted the fuel tank and smiled.
"Just me n you baby" Tania giggled to herself as she realised she had spoken that aloud.

Tania mounted the large bike and paused. She fumbled for the key to gun the engine.

"Lookin' fer these" came his voice out of the shadows

"Logan...I...yeah. Those would be handy about now" she replied, almost stuttering.

"Wouldn't be goin without goodbye now would ya?" he asked, his face spoke volumes. He didn't want her to leave.

"Logan, I thought this was best..." she trailed off, turning her face downwards.

"So, you were planning on standin me up then" he he said, his expression not changing.

"Logan...it's not like that..I...I don't like goodbyes. I didn't want anyone to make a fuss. It's embarassing." she said back.

Logan wasn't impressed.

"I know you feel you have to go darlin'...I'd rather you stayed here, where we could work this out together. As a team...but I understand your reasons" he solemnly gave her the keys to her bike back.

"Logan....." Tania couldn't finish the sentence. What she'd wanted to tell him for as long as she'd known him.

"C'mere" he said as he pulled her up from the bike

Tania wrapped her arms around him and they hugged tightly.
"I really am gonna miss you...everyone"

They pulled away from one another and gave each other a deep loving look.

" I have something for ya...call it a goin away present."

Without warning he pulled Tania in and kissed her. Surprised, but at the same time relieved she gave in to the kiss.

"Woah...where did that come from?" she said as she pulled away gently.

"Always been there...just didn't see it till I realised I was losing you. Call it an incentive to come home." he smiled at her...the wicked smile that made her feel like a schoolgirl with a crush on the older pupil.

"I think I might just do that" she said as she smiled back

"Drive that thing safe." he said then flashed her a look
"Y'know...you could always take my hog"

Tania's eyes widened.
"Are you sure? I mean...it's yours n all"

"Take it, you do have the keys in yer hand" he said

Tania looked down and realised that the keys he gav her, were not the keys to her Honda. Hopping off she walked fast paced to Logans Harley. Mounted it and gunned the engine. She mouthed the words
"Thank you" as she directed the large bike out of the garage and out of the Mansion grounds.

Bobby was wandering around the mansion's gardens, wondering what to do about the Eevee dileema. He strolled futher away from the mansion and instantly halted as he heared distant moaning which became vague.
He followed the sound until it faded away and saw a distant figure scattered on the ground. He hared over to the casualty and was shocked to see that it was Eevee.
"Eevee", he cried out, reaching towards her and turning her around so he could see her face
"Bobby...", Eevee groaned, "Everything is so... dark..."
Bobby glanced at the piercings which were placed on her throat and frowned with disapprovel.
"Who did this to you?"
"My... Dad..", she croaked, clutching to Bobby's hand.
"Your Dad? Who's your dad?"
"Cletus... Kasady,", she whispered, "Carnage..."
She suddenly gasped for breath and slit part of her head on a sharp rock, Bobby tried to keep her calm.
"You're going to be alright...", he replied.
"No I won't. I'm fading away. Decaying."
"You can fight it!"
"I can't. I won't.", she whispered, remembering what her father whispered to her.
"Don't go...", he muttered.
"Farewell Bobby.", she mumbled with her final breath and became a lifeless heap.
Bobby's eyes swelled up in bitter tears and forced himself not to tremble.

Liz turned around but no one was there, all of the sudden a pain in her stomach came,she looked up.

"Somethings wrong.Mazon!"she said and he came right away.

She ran back as fast as she could, she ignored the pain in her ribs, she came out of the forest and she smelled it.

"Oh no."she said and relised right away that it was blood.

But whos blood was it, she concentrated and then said "Eevee." and started searching right away.
