Gibbs sighed and rolled his eyes. Why did he always have to be the one stuck with a band of idiots while Jack slept away the day dreaming about rum and pretty lasses -
He coughed and swept his arm expansively across the dry gully and the landlocked Pearl. "And how be we to get her out, eh? We'll have to wait 'til high tide."

"Yeah, rum..." Robert replied, not really paying attention.
A moment later the realization came in full. He ran after Jack. "No, not rum! Something else! You won't like the rum anyway!"

He continued on.

Bill looked to Lee, "We have to wait till hight tide. There is no way we would be able to do anything until then." Then his eyes lit up, "Or.............we could try to enter the ship without being seen and wait inside until hightide. Then it would be easier for us." He smiled mischeviously and nudged Gibbs in the shoulder.

"No! Stop!" Robert shouted, waving his arms frantically.
Too late.
Captain Jack Sparrow had just stepped into the jungle, and a lunatic had just been unleashed upon the island. Oh, the responsibility! With a groan, Robert ran after him.

"Easier, eh?" Gibbs snorted, waving his arm expansively at the massive congregation of natives. Shaking his head in wonder, he sat down against a tree to wait for high tide.
One minute passed. He scratched his head.
Three minutes. He began squirming.
Four minutes and thirty seconds. "Oh, fine!" he hissed, leaping back to his feet. He added quite glibly, "But only because there's rum on board."

Bill followed Gibbs, but only as fast as his leg would carry him. And as you know, he could only use one leg, since his other ankle was broken.
While moving along, he asked Gibbs, "And how exactly do you suppose we enter the Pearl without being seen by these keen eyes everywhere?"

Gibbs thought for a moment. Then his face lit up and he beamed at both of them. "I have it. You two create a bloomin' diversion while I can sneak onto the Pearl. Brilliant, eh?" And mayhap I'll get all the rum while they're gone...

Jack tripped over his own boots as he trudged through the jungle. Everything and anything before his eyes were a just a blur of colors, but the Captain still pressed on.
