Mark gasped loudly, filling the small tall narrow hallway, with an echo. This is exactly what he was afraid of....being caught.... Not only had his idea failed...it failed within the first two seconds...
His mind went into tunnel vision and panic...as any normal child would.... He did not even hear Rachel's excuse, but instead released his grip on her and began to run down the hallway in the opposite direction of the monstrous alien.

"Mark!" Rachel groped frantically for his hand, then heard his footsteps echoing down the hallway. "Mark, come back!" she called.

Vimmac gripped Jimmy by the throat as the young man also tried to make a run for it. "Let them go!" he shouted to Zrglst in the Alien language. "We're wasting time!"

Hannah screamed as she saw the alien in front of her. She saw Mark running away, and wanted to do so too, but she couldn't run, only stare. "Do...Don't hurt us...please..." she stumbled. "Don't hur...hurt us..."

"beep" Kai grabbed a syringe next to him, full of some purple liquid and stuck it into Vimmac's neck. The time for words was over.

Vimmac lunched forward and reached behind his neck, pulling out the needle. He howled in anger and lusted his nails out, spearing Kai in the leg.

Kai creid out and clutched his leg, haveing no doubt that the nails were poisonouse. He looked desperately round the room for another weopan

Rachel pressed her back against the smooth, cold wall, biting back a scream. She could hear the scuffle and alien yells, but didn't know what was going on.

(R u sure, Pip? Don't you think we could carry on with the story a little until he gets back?)
Mark continued to dash down the narrow hallways designed for the bodies of aliens and took a sharp turn to his left. He was at a dead end. Panic set in as he looked behind him to see if he was being followed, but as he did, he hear the curtling scream of Kia and the gargling shriek of Vimmac. Terrified of what was happening, he covered his ears tightly, trying to block out the sounds, backing up against a wall.

Zrglst yelled at Vimmac, "No! I must have them all, or I may not find the disease." The alien dashed after humans.

Vimmac grew angry towards Zrglst, but he dared not to say another word against his Commander.
Instead, Vimmac pulled his nails out of Kai's leg and slapped the young man upside the head with his forearm, sending Kai across the room.
Jimmy stumbled to run away, but unfortunately, Vimmac was not going to let that happen. Black tentacles from the Alien's hands reached out and sucked Jimmy into a painful position near Vimmac's side.

Mark uncovered his ears once the noises had stopped. Shaking, he walked slowly toward the entrance to the tunnel he was trapped in and peered down the long hallway.
There was nothing there, but he could hear the patter of something approaching. Breathing deeply, he ran down the main hallway, and this time, took a right, entering a room full of mechanical machines covered with different lights and buttons.
Spotting a dark corner, Mark hid behind a large metal machine, with tears streaming down his eyes.

Kai screamed as the nails were removed, but was quickly cut short as he landed with a sharp thud on the other side of the room. His head lolled on his shoulders as his eyesight dimmed.

"K...Kai...Kai!" Hannah screamed with a mixture of fear and anger against the aliens. She didn't care anymore what would happen now, she entered the room and walked over to Kai. She knelt beside him and quickly put her arms around him. "Kai...Kai...can you hear me...Kai...?" She stared at the alien with a terrified look but she tried not to show her fear. "Don't...touch...him" she said slowly to the alien. "Leave...him...alone..."
