Minara lounges against the tree behind her and looks at Chris, then at Jack, then at Devina, then back to Jack, then to Chris again, watching the whole tableau play out....

Devina put her hand to the wound, looking puzzeled at the blood. "Strange..." she muttered, rubbing the blood between two fingers. her face showed no pain, only amazment.

Jack whipped around and eyed Chris with a Jack O' Lantern looking smile laying playfully on his face, "Yer turn!" He lifted up his pistol once more and fired into Chris' arm.

Chris arghed and fell onto the ground, he grinned in pain and then shot back at Jack towards his stomach.

Devina held up her bloody hand "Thats enough." the differance in her voice was astounding. It was much colder and held much more power behind it- almost exactly like her fathers.

Minara watches the shooting, raising an eyebrow at it all. "Well, I think I'll just let you finish this, then answer.... But if you wanna know now, I am gonna share it with you... I don't have enough room on my ships to take it all, so I have to...." She shrugs and smiles, knowing they probably didn't hear her over the shooting.....

Jack doubled over as the bullet shot through his stomach. He stumbled but regained his balance quickly, "Nice try, but at least I won't die.." He held up his pistol again and shot Chris in the upper thigh. His lips smirked in amusement.

Minara sighs. "Alright, can we stop shooting guns around everywhere?.... It's a trifle annoying..." She raises an eyebrow at them, then continues. "Thank you..... Now that we can talk like civilized people, I'm going to tell you something you probably didn't know..." Minara smiles wickedly. "There are things on this island that are worse than any bullet.... You see, there were once people on this island, and now they are...." She shrugs. "Not...."

Jack strolled up to the others as well and twirled his pistol back into his sash. He stood next to Minara and said loud and sarcastically after she spoke, "Well, at least we don't need to worry 'bout those things. We already dead! HAH!" If the others had tomatoes in there hands, they would've surely thrown some at him for the weakness of this so-called-joke.

Minara's face goes blank, like so: -_-. "Yah.... But these things aren't neccessarily dead.... Some are still alive, but have taken other forms, such as banshee, naiad, vampiric mermaid, and many others of the same type....." She grins. "If you'd only sailed with me, we could've been saved this mix-up and you guys would've gotten a heads-up...." Minara laughs. "Ain't it funny th' way life works out?....."
