By now, the tide was already more than halfway up the gully, setting the Pearl afloat. Only her secured anchor was keeping her from simply drifting away. Gibbs glanced at Lee and Bill and wondered if they had a diversion plan yet.

Bill sighed and then said, "I guess it does....I just hope we both don't get killed." He then crept nearer to the natives, trying not to make a sound, but just then....'CRACK'.......a large twig snapped underneath his weight.
